  1. I’m glad this father referenced the “sell your cloak and buy a sword” passage. Mr. Rogers served up half-cooked porridge. And I am noticing that mainstream is pretty much (more than pretty much) ignoring Father’s Day.

Well, I won’t forget those in my own life who gave so much to make life work, and to instill so many moments of humanity into my growing-up experience. Fathers are the spine of civilization. I will not let the suppressors keep me from celebrating life’s glorious gift of strong, giving, and caring men. All of them are fathers to life.

    .

  2. And not just the “cloak” part, and not just Romans 13 (EVERY TRUE BELIEVER NEEDS TO LISTEN to what Chuck Baldwin says about Romans 13). Too many Christians refuse to see the context of when He said, “turn the other cheek.” It does NOT mean (as this pastor said) let someone rape your daughter or let the govt. steal from you or let some BLM thug murder your loved ones and just “pray” for these thugs… the context is this, another saying Christ said: “Let the dead bury the dead.” Meaning, let the woke bury the woke and let the psychos bury the psychos, after We the People (following Christ who overthrew the banksters and the Pharisees and told Satan to “go to hell” so to speak) do what is necessary. Christians, like blacks and everyone else, need to wake up to the truth! Fight evil. Period!

    1. I’ll go miles beyond Baldwin even. It’s been suggested that the words in Romans 13 refer to worldly govt. authorities, the suggestion wouldn’t stand in the context since not all governmental authorities are of God nor do they execute His will as suggested in verses 2-5. In the context, they refer to excelling authorities commissioned by God for the purpose of administrating His service and justice. In verse 4 notice the word “minister”, meaning, minister, servant, waiter, attendant. This verse further explains the “authorities” mentioned in verses 1-3, namely ministers of God who serve for the good of others.
As Baldwin does which is to wiggle out of the context of Rom. 13 by saying just don’t obey evil, this section has absolutely NOTHING to do with worldly govts., period. He ought to simply read what’s written and teach that rather than justifying as he does, that the verse doesn’t apply when govt. becomes evil. The verses DON’T apply in the first place!
