On the broadcast Friday while Jamal was speaking about those who have not yet woken up, I was thinking that many will when the water gets to their very own door. Such is the case with this pharmacist. It took this horrible attack on his health for him to realize what’s going on. Different people wake up through different means and at different times, but waking up they are. Too damn hard to hide the evidence of illness, suffering, death. This man’s story is heartbreaking, and at his level of understanding he’s attempting to make an arrest through the system, but still, his story is getting out there. As they say, “The tide is turning.” Maybe we can change that to “The tide is MOST DEFINITELY turning.”
