NBC Connecticut Yale students are being urged to stay indoors until further notice after what the school is calling a confirmed report of a person with a gun on or near Old Campus.
The school is also telling people who are off campus to stay away from the area. A police officer told NBC Connecticut reporter Audrey Washington to move from part of Elm Street because the man they are looking for is in the area.
New Haven Police received an anonymous call from a phone booth in the 300 block of Columbus Avenue reporting a person on the Yale Campus with a gun, according to the school’s website.
The school originally said there was no confirmation or sighting of this person, and police from the university and city of New Haven Police have responded to the area, but the school has since updated the alert.
Students have been on break since Saturday and classes do not resume until Dec. 2, but police are advising people who are still on campus to stay in their current location.
Elm Street is closed as police investigate and they are rerouting drivers.
The following streets are closed:
- High Street between Elm and Chapel streets
- Chapel Street between High and College streets
- College Street between Chapel and Elm streets
- Elm Street between College and High streets

No one was killed, or even shot at, but someone saw a gun somewhere so the entire population is supposed to hide under their beds until a gang of idiots in a police car comes to their rescue.
And they’ll do it without question, because such is the power of conditioning.

For cryin’ out loud, enough with the “OMG gun on campus” crap. First they start at elementary schools, then high schools and now universities. The bastards won’t stop until they have all school populations lockdown and under their control and ready to fully indoctrinate their Communist Core education on them all. Just like the airports and transportation systems.
Oh and by the way, it was at Yale University. So what happened? Some elitist professor thought a peasant was going to shoot him, so he called one of his corporate rent-a-cop thugs to save him because he doesn’t have the balls to save himself?
