  1. I have always said that those cell phones are there to make people think that they are so damned important that they cannot be away from their hard wired phone. Get a cheap gas station cell phone and keep it the glove box inthe cars and only use it in case of emergencies. Yea, I hate those cell phones – just look at it, now they can get internet, take pictures, and even video`s on some of them. Real superficial I think for people to think they always need to be near a phone or camera. Just my opinion ya`ll know, but then again I never though of myself as being so damned important as all that. Emergency use only is what I think people should be useing those cell phones for. Yep, they are just another easy way for the govt/NSA to spy on ya all who cannot sem to live without their phones. 😐 😎

    1. I like watching “old” movies with my kids (like movies made 1997 or so and earlier) and pointing out how many of the scenarios could never happen today (the man who races to meet his love interest who is leaving on the train forever, thinking he doesn’t love her, and away goes that train, and he has no way of reaching her, and she will never know….). Or even the dated movies from the early 2000’s like Minority Report, which are purportedly set in the future, yet are using outdated (by now) flip-phone technology.

Well, aside from that… I sure agree with you. None of the “benefits” of cellphones are worth any of the costs. It is another one of those candy-coated poisons that suck people in until they feel dependent on it.

      1. Yea EE, I like watching Mayberry RFD, and Gomer Pyle USMC, and Mash sometimes. They are my 1 hour of good humor. Wish I could go back to those days I do. 😎

  2. But, they are so useful in taking pics of victims lying on the ground
injured and in dire need of help. God, forgive them; they know
    what they do.

  3. The Wireless industry will just buy legislation that will grant them retroactive immunity from any lawsuits. That’s how the “Big Boys” take care of us pesky consumers.

    1. They already did. Insurance companies no longer cover claims of cancer caused by cell phones. Also in most phone contracts you waive the right to sue by having a cell phone. It has not stopped the sheep though as they never look up.

      1. I just have to say that when a company does not allow you to sue them, they shouldn’t be in business and you shouldn’t be buying from them because they truly don’t support the guarantee of the product that they are selling. And that basically covers all products these days since most of them are made in China. Not like it used to be in the old days with everything made in the U.S.
