  1. My deepest condolences to you, your brother, and the entire family. Life is so unpredictable and can change in an instant. It’s also brief, which is why it is so important to make the most of each day. Tomorrow is never, ever guaranteed for anyone.

  2. I’m sorry for your loss. Your brother, indeed your family and yourself has been lifted before The Father. Expect to see God’s moving on your behalf.

  3. So sorry for your family’s loss, Swifty. My heart and prayers go out for you and yours. Focus on the living and what they need and don’t need, first and foremost. I lost my father about 2 months ago and what I’ve found is it’s a good test for who have moral compass and character. It’s a sad sobering lesson but one that keeps you focused. You and yours stay strong please and know there are those you’ve never met are in your corner. God bless.

    1. Sorry about your dad, Martist. Seems some gifts came to you from his passing. They do that, those we love, they leave something of value. Continued strength to you.

      1. Thank you, Galen, and having experienced it so recently is probably an even better reason for me to share what I’ve learned. Many people become vultures when motivated by greed, but I disagree. They only reveal they are vultures. They were all along and we just never saw it.

        1. I have run into such and understand. Not easy to work through all that, but at least you saw it for what it is and are wiser for it. I have a feeling more good will come your way.

        2. So sorry to hear of your loss, Martist, thank you for your kind words and prayers. What you speak of is so very true, Vultures indeed showing their true colors. So many people miss the obvious. I like having earthly goods as they are needed to some extent to survive in this world but it never ceases to amaze me how much greed exists around us. In my lifetime, one thing I have learned and base my whole being on, is integrity. If people have no integrity then I want nothing to do with them. I guess that is why I have few friends, but the ones I have are true friends.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matt. 6:19-21)

  4. Prayers for both you, Swifty, and Martist.
I am saddened by your situations, and familiar with the feelings.
    Stay strong,my friends.

  5. I will always pray for blessings for losses of any family members of any Trencher. God is with you, Swifty, and your family. Be with these folks, Father God.
