The United States will deploy at least two warships into the Black Sea off the coast of Sochi, Russia, to respond to a potential terror attack during the upcoming Olympics, top officials said on Monday.
The positioning of the ships would also enable the rapid evacuation of Americans in the event of an attack, CNN reported. The State Department would take the lead if evacuations became necessary.
The ships will have helicopters that could fly Americans out of the country if needed. There are also aircraft on standby in Germany that could be at Sochi in about two hours if needed.
Concerns about terrorism at the Olympics have heightened after a video released online Sunday promised a “present” for tourists at the Olympics as revenge for Muslims killed around the world, according to CNN.
Two young men in the video are believed to be the suicide bombers responsible for two attacks in Russia last month.
Earlier Monday, NBC News reported Russia was on the hunt for four possible “black widows” prepared for an attack.

Yea this seems likea way to spend more money they say we do not have , and it is to protect a bunch athletes. I just do not get what is so important about these olympics when there are so many other more important things to worry about like hunger, the homeless, and other things….These olympians are just a bunch of rich people that spend most if not all of their time training because they do not have to worry about money or housing or other things that the every day common people are struggling for.

Yep bargain bob, queer and of the priviledged class. Once in a while they wille throw in one that didn`t grow up priviladged but for the most part they are from the upper class.
Funny how “the show must go on” even when a threat of this magnitude exists. And, no doubt there WILL be some sort of terrorist event that takes place, the only thing absent right now is in knowing how many people will die. And that, in itself, makes a person wonder why the games ARE taking place.
Another funny thing is that when “terrorists” strike, they strike at innocent people, and not the Politicians that are creating their so-called “problems.” Maybe that’s because these terrorists know, like I do, that it’s the Politicians who are giving them their paycheck.
Sochi WILL be a nightmare for hundreds of innocent people. And it will be a “god-send” for the Elite, who are “paying” for this event. Best part is, on Judgement Day, that’s when the Elite will truly pay.

This is just another chance for them to put on a show for the elite and the people by keeping that infamous “war on terror” propaganda going.
You know, it amazes me how no one person has made a big mistake in any of the elite’s plans so far and thus causing World War III, as we know that anything even minute can set it all off.
