436,000 American workers filed for new jobless claims this week. The mainstream propagandists are saying that maybe they overestimated the recovery in reference to jobs. This is poppycock. If you pay attention to the mainstream propaganda you will notice that there are always one or two economists that point out the obvious if you are lucky enough to catch their fifteen second blip.
I stated emphatically last month that the jobless reports that the media was putting out for October were erroneous, as the propagandists were trying to portray the seasonal jobs associated with the harvest as being an increase in permanent positions.
436,000 is a huge number, especially considering the fact that seasonal jobs have come into play again for the December Christmas hiring. I believe that when the end of January rolls around we are going to see the mainstream propagandists feinting shock at the massive increases in unemployment. The bottom line is things are not getting better in fact they are getting worse.
Extensions for the long term unemployed are at present being held hostage. The top 2%, speaking through their mouthpieces, the mainstream media have said, “You are going to give us at least $170 billion” (two year extension of tax cuts) “or we will starve the unemployed to the point that they turn on you and attack.”
Many have asked the question why the unemployment extensions were not addressed before the elections. I think the answer is fairly obvious. The extensions were being held as a bargaining chip to insure the extension of tax cuts for the top 2%. Thus all we have suffered through the past two months has been the result of a political ploy. You have the love the false left-right paradigm.
Now when this compromise, which has been a fait accompli all along, is complete, the Demopublicans can say, “Hey look what we did for you unemployed people.” While the Republicrats turn to those they represent, the rich, and say, “We got you got your tax cuts.” Of course if you come out into the population those who think they are of the Republican Party are going to be saying, “We are betrayed, they have spent billions more.” And those who think they are part of the Democratic Party are going to be saying, “We are betrayed as they have given billions more to the rich.”
It appears to me that the situation is that the unemployment extensions actually have to be purchased from the top 2%. So the necessary extensions which should cost $30 billion are going to cost $200 billion after the $170 billion payoff to the top 2% is added. No wonder the middle class taxpayers are screaming.
The propagandists for Fox News flashed a poll in a broadcast this morning which said that 79% of Americans opposed an unemployment extension, while 20% favored it. Upon further examination of the poll it was revealed that it consisted of about 1,300 Fox viewers. The propagandists have become desperate. It is becoming nauseating watching the million dollar commentators on Fox all but drop to their knees and start begging, “Please, oh please, oh please extend the tax cut for the top 2%.” These propagandists have become so one sided I do not see how they can use the word News in the titles of their programs.
If unemployment extensions are passed it will not be because of any concern the power structure has for our plight, but rather it will be because they are seeing that we are growing more militant than they ever dreamed possible. So if we do get the extensions our militancy must be redoubled and unceasing until we have our living wage jobs back. Understand this is going to take a repeal of every law allowing American business to operate anywhere but in the united States. We cannot pay them off to accomplish this end. This we are going to have to take by force.
We now have a chat room available on our site www.fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/the-pub Next week we will see how many people we can get to show up for a discussion in the chat room in reference to reaching our goal for the Nationwide Rally to Extend Unemployment Insurance more expediently. We are gaining ground.

Oh my Henry!
Do you mean to imply that they , our “elected” public “servants”, are really just self serving egalitarians and that they really don’t “serve the people” as their primary interest and that they would actually steal all our wealth and resources and leave us to die in the gutter?
My good man! You can’t be serious! This has never happened in recorded history…how can you suggest such a preposterous idea?
Surely thou jesteth!
Brian,
I know it seems a little far fetched, especially in light of the fact that the mainstream media asserts daily that if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a polar bear that cannot swim.
