There will be no broadcast of The Word From the Trenches today as the internet is still out.

I have talked to a technician I know and it seems the only people who have Centurylink internet in this town are the businesses and the Californians who have gotten the new upgrade. So I guess we are going to have to get the new upgrade, which is exactly how they got rid of the old dial-up, but hey, it will be fiber optics. Just think how much more spyware they can add. Our internet has been out since yesterday afternoon. Our Verizon mobile wi-fi, which is our back up, is running as slow as a sloth on Quaaludes.

We were able to get two posts up this morning before the wi-fi slowed down to the point that it would no longer allow us to go forward.

Putting up articles with the mobile wi-fi is impossible, we will be lucky if this notice goes up.

We are supposed to have our internet back at 4:00 this afternoon. If so we will get everything caught up then and tomorrow we will be contacting Verizon to praise their excellent service.
