The National Rifle Association has released a video containing a threatening message to journalists, warning them “your time is running out”.

Cleveland, Ohio – Graphic Body Camera footage has been released that shows police officers forcing a mentally ill woman to remove her clothes, and then violently slamming her to the ground, covering her face with pepper spray, and forcing her to answer a series of questions before giving her medical aid.

The video was released by Cuyahoga County after a judge granted a request submitted by Cleveland.com. The evidence details an incident that took place in May 2016, after officers arrested a woman for a nonviolent offense, and a municipal court judge ordered that she be held in jail until a mental health evaluation could be conducted.   Continue reading “Cops Force Mentally Ill Woman to Strip Naked, Violently Attack and Pepper Spray Her”

Pro-mass immigration GOP megadonor billionaires, the Koch brothers, released a new ad campaign this week, calling illegal aliens “patriots” of the United States.

In their latest effort to push the Republican-controlled Congress to pass an amnesty for between nearly 800,000 and 3.5 million illegal aliens who are enrolled and eligible for the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the Koch-backed LIBRE Initiative organization has released two new ads, portraying DACA illegal aliens as defenders of American patriotism.   Continue reading “Pro-Mass Immigration Koch Brothers New Campaign for Amnesty: DACA Illegal Aliens ‘Are Patriots’”

Update: Amid public demands for transparency, the Broward Police have released the full list of 23 calls for service to the  home of attacker Nikolas Cruz, in a desperate bid to deflect criticism over handling the Parkland school shooting. The final call, however, just like the transcript from the January 5 call discussed below, shows that serious concerns were not acted on.

“In the interest of full transparency, we are making available the list of all 23 calls for service at the Cruz home,” the sheriff’s office said in a Friday tweet. “18 involved Nikolas Cruz. None appeared arrestable under Florida law. However, two of the calls remain under internal investigation.”   Continue reading “FBI Tipster Transcript Leaked: Cruz Will “Get Into A School And Shoot The Place Up”: Full Text”

An estimated 77 million Americans have a debt that has been transferred to a private collection agency. Thousands have ended up in jail over debts as small as $28, with African-Americans and Hispanics the most affected.

The findings come from a new report by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) spanning 26 states and Puerto Rico, published on Wednesday. The practice violates many US state and federal laws, which prohibit the jailing of debtors.   Continue reading “Thousands of Americans jailed for debts chased by private collectors”

A tsunami of opposition was able to derail an extreme bill in Hawaii, known as SB2323, that would have treated homeschool families as guilty until proven innocent. Among other controversies, the scheme would have required background checks and child-welfare investigations of all homeschool parents to determine whether they are suitable for raising their own children. It also would have required state approval before a family could homeschool. Unfortunately for homeschoolers, the author of the bill vowed to submit a new one in the next legislative session.    Continue reading “Massive Opposition Kills Hawaii Anti-homeschool Bill”

Bisphenol-A (BPA) was first created by a Russian chemist in 1891, but wasn’t used in the manufacture of products until the 1950s when it was used to produce resilient and often transparent plastics. Today, BPA is found in countless personal care products, water bottles, cashier receipts and the lining of canned goods.

Although research shows BPA is detrimental to human health, the market was valued at over $13 billion in 2013 and expected to reach $20 billion in 2020.1 Unfortunately, as the demand for BPA-free products is rising, substitute chemicals that are nearly identical to BPA are being substituted and thought to produce the same negative human health effects.  Continue reading “86 Percent of Teens Are Loaded With Gender-Bending Chemicals”

The United States Army will no longer require recruits to show they can throw hand grenades 25 meters because many of them can’t throw the explosive far enough, it revealed on Friday.

The Army says that starting next summer it will remove the requirement from its Basic Combat Training because it takes too much time to teach enlistees to throw grenades at an adequate distance.   Continue reading “US Army drops grenade throwing as a requirement to graduate because new recruits can’t throw far enough”

After shutting down more than 5,000 stores in 2017, store-closings are accelerating in 2018 with news that Bi-Lo LLC, the supermarket company that owns the Winn-Dixie chain, is preparing for a potential bankruptcyfiling as soon as next month, and is planning to shut almost 200 stores as part of the move – either before or after the filing.

Winn-Dixie joins JCPenney, Bon-Ton, Toys R Us, Sam’s Club, Macy’s, Sears, Kmart and others in the growing list of 2018 shutterings as the ‘great economy’ that stocks foreshadow fails to show up in the retailer landscape.   Continue reading “Retail Apocalypse Accelerates: 200 Winn-Dixie Stores To Close As Parent Goes Bankrupt”

In a decision that many had anticipated, the SEC Thursday night officially rejected a proposal from a Chinese investment group to purchase the Chicago Stock Exchange – which handles a tiny 1% of daily order volume – in an acquisition that would have created a conduit for a Chinese entity to exert more control over IPOs of China-based companies in the US, where markets are significantly more open to international investors than in China. Hundreds of small companies are waiting to list in China, where they’re being held up by red tape.   Continue reading “SEC Blocks Chinese Takeover Of Chicago Stock Exchange”
