Police in South Daytona Florida are investigating after someone fired four bullets through the windows of the Volusia County Republican Headquarters, according to local ABC affiliate WFTV9. Nobody was injured in the incident.

MIAMI (Reuters) – Federal authorities arrested a man in Florida on Friday suspected of sending at least a dozen parcel bombs to high-profile critics of U.S. President Donald Trump days ahead of congressional elections, officials said.

A Boeing C-17 Globemaster military transport plane accidentally dropped a Humvee onto a community in Harnett County, North Carolina, Wednesday afternoon, Fort Bragg officials confirmed.

With midterm elections just two weeks away, it is the massive caravan of migrants currently headed toward the U.S. border that is garnering most of the top headlines, with their arrival on the US border seemingly well-timed to coincide with Americans going to the polls.
President Trump had been hoping that this caravan would be stopped at Mexico’s southern border, but that did not happen, and now it appears that we could be looking at a major international incident along the U.S. border with Mexico not many days from now. On Monday police officers shot and killed the teenager suspected in Saturday’s fatal shooting of a Gwinnett County, Georgia, officer.
Breitbart News reported that Officer Antwan Toney was shot and killed while investigating a suspicious vehicle Saturday afternoon. The fatal shot came from inside the vehicle and the gunman had the element of surprise, allowing him to shoot and hit Toney before he or his partner could even draw their guns.
