Republican strategists like to say the party’s next nominee needs to hail from the GOP’s gubernatorial ranks. It’s a response to how unpopular Washington is—particularly the party’s congressional wing—and a reflection of the party’s strength in holding a majority of governorships. But another reason for the gubernatorial focus is to sidestep the one formidable candidate that gives the establishment heartburn: Sen. Rand Paul. Traders waited nervously Thursday for the Nasdaq to begin trading after its largest intra-day shut in recent memory.
“When everyone comes back online at the same time that’s when even more dangerous things can happen in the marketplace,” said Sal Arnuk, the co-founder of Themis Trading.
The Wall Street Journal pointed to Apple as a good example of the chaos that could ensue. The tech giant’s stock plunged shortly before the Nasdaq glitch. Continue reading “All Nasdaq markets halting trading due to processor issue”

This July 4th Americans celebrate their 237th Independence Day. The Declaration of Independence, signed during the midst of the American Revolution in 1776, was not just a statement of grievances against the British monarchy but also a declaration of freedom from it, citing unalienable rights of self-governance. I said un-alienable, not in-alienable rights. Most believe there is no real difference between the two words. But not so fast. When unalienable was replaced with inalienable it diminished the original intention of personal rights; among which are “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Continue reading “How the Declaration of Independence got Hijacked”

“There will be a great bang for our buck for being in Africa because when you travel to regions like Africa that don’t get a lot of presidential attention, you tend to have very longstanding and long-running impact from the visit,” said Ben Rhodes, a deputy national security adviser to President Obama. Ever wonder how come there are men (and women) in costumes “policing” the rest of us?
Most people accept this relationship as both given – and eternal. That there have always been men (if not always women) in costumes “policing” the rest of us. But, in fact, it’s a relatively novel thing. Think back to your schooldays. Do you recall any mention of police when you were learning about the colonial era and the American Revolution? There were sheriffs, yes – and the local militia. But these were concerned mostly with keeping the peace – that is, stepping in when someone harmed someone else. Up to and even during the Civil War – a titanic struggle between the fading remnants of the old republican idea and the centralized, omnipotent state that took its place – the idea of police as we know it was essentially unknown. The second video below was made by Ernst Zundel in 2000. It is an interview with an Israeli reporter. Early into the interview he tells the reporter that voracious Jewish appetites will create Weimar like conditions in America. And this will lead to A Final Solution of the Jewish problem in the United States.
In 1999 the Jews had their Gentile kept politicians repeal Glass Steagall which had protected Americans from commercial banks speculating with their depositors money on wild investments. Continue reading “Ernst Zundel Warns The Jews About Doing To America What They Did To Germany”
