Since I wrote this article titled “Disarming America’s Heroes” I have been inundated with emails and phone calls from veterans and the families of veterans. The horror stories I am hearing are proof that the VA and the Obama administration have launched an all out assault on the Constitutional rights of our nation’s wounded warriors and other veterans.

NEW YORK (ABC News) – The FBI on Sunday issued the strongest warning to date about possible attacks by the ISIS terrorist group against the U.S. military inside the homeland, officials tell ABC News.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s game of whack-a-mole with Windows tech support scammers continues.

The FTC and the State of Florida recently announced the temporary shut down of several businesses in two new cases of Windows tech support scams. The two cases involved scams that bilked “tens of thousands” of Windows PC owners out of more than $120 million, the FTC says.

For at least four years now, scam artists have been trying to pull one over on gullible computer users with phony tech support calls. The FTC said its latest operation was the third such case since 2011. Washing your hands with antibacterial soap may be dangerous, a new US study reveals. A chemical found in many liquid handwashes and other basic household products like shampoos and toothpaste has been linked to cancer.

Triclosan is an antimicrobial agent of broad-spectrum and one of the most common additives used in a wide range of consumer products, from kitchenware to toys. Studies have also found traces of the chemical in 97 percent of breast milk samples from lactating women and in the urine of nearly three-quarters of people tested. I marvel at people who hold to such naive beliefs. Dr. Martin Salia, who contracted Ebola in Africa and was later flown to the United States, has died, officials with Nebraska Medical Center said.

Salia is the third patient treated for the virus at the medical center.

“It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share this news,” Dr. Phil Smith, medical director of the Biocontainment Unit at Nebraska Medical Center and professor of infectious diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, said in a statement. The Survival Mom

When a summertime monsoon storm is on the way, I quickly track down my kids, bring them indoors, and prepare to hunker down.  It’s a mom-instinct.  We  unplug the computers, make sure all the windows are securely closed and locked, and if my husband isn’t home, I call to make sure he’s okay.

The radical jihadist group Islamic State released a video Sunday it said shows American aid worker Peter Kassig being beheaded in Syria. The video was posted on social media.

The video has not been confirmed as genuine and it is not clear that the footage depicts Kassig.

“We are aware of a video that claims to show the murder of U.S. citizen Peter Kassig by the Islamic State, also known as ISIL or ISIS. In 2015 the government will be activating some new “incentives” embedded in the Affordable Care Act in an effort to get more people to sign up.

But, as is often the case when the government says one thing, they mean exactly the opposite. In this case, when they say incentive what they really mean is that you are going to be penalized if you fail to acquire government mandated health insurance. But not just you.
