Linux creator admits NSA demanded backdoorSalon – by Natasha Lennard

Speaking at the keynote LinuxCon panel this year, Linus Torvalds, who created the open-source Linux operating system 22 years ago, revealed that the government had approached him about installing a backdoor into system’s structure. Linux is the preferred operating system for the privacy conscious infosec community.

It’s just the latest in a string of revelations illustrating how the NSA have for a number of years attempted to intervene in the very structuring of online communications and cryptography to enable easier surveillance.  Continue reading “Linux creator admits NSA demanded backdoor”

attenboroug-plague-population-controlStory Leak – by Anthony Gucciardi

Top globalist Sir David Attenborough, who last year described humans  as a ‘plague on Earth’, has now gone on record in calling for nations of the  world to stop sending food aid to starving nations in order to reduce the  population of the world.

Speaking with the Daily Telegraph, the highly decorated  psychopath expanded upon his notion that the  plague of humanity must be reduced throughout the world. Reduction  that, according to him, really starts with starving poorer nations that have  been decimated by first world global powers (and could be fed with  about a week or so of military spending). The problem, Attenborough  says, however, comes down to numerous “huge sensitivities” that continue to  block the goal of massive population reduction.  Continue reading “David Attenborough: Stop Feeding Third World Nations to Reduce Population”

White House Dossier – by Keith Koffler

I don’t know, mainly I’m putting this up because it was amusing and I thought you’d enjoy it. But there is a larger point.

The news business has sunk to an abysmal depth. Nobody has any money, competition is fierce, and corners are cut everywhere you can find them. “Reputable” news organizations take one source and run a major story on the information as if they were sure it was fact. The old news saying – If your mother says she loves you, check it out, is a quaint anachronism.  Continue reading “Jon Stewart Roasts CNN’s Navy Yard Coverage”

Post image for Financial Empire and the global debtors’ prisonRoar Mag – by Jerome Roos

Financial Empire may have reduced us all to debt prisoners, but we can still become the social protagonists of history’s greatest-ever prison break.

Let there be no doubt about it: we live in the era of Financial Empire. Unlike the military conquests that drove the territorial expansions of the empires of old, contemporary Financial Empire consists not in the highly visible exercise of a Big Stick ideology (although military imperialism undoubtedly continues today), but rather takes the shape of an Invisible Hand. The President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff announces publicly the creation of a world internet system INDEPENDENT from US and Britain ( the “US-centric internet”).

Not many understand that, while the immediate trigger for the decision (coupled with the cancellation of a summit with the US president) was the revelations on NSA spying, the reason why Rousseff can take such a historic step is that the alternative infrastructure: The BRICS cable from Vladivostock, Russia  to Shantou, China to Chennai, India  to Cape Town, South Africa  to Fortaleza, Brazil,  is being built and it’s, actually, in its final phase of implementation.   Continue reading “The BRICS ‘independent internet” Cable.in Defiance of the “uS-Centric internet””

A new study lead by Argentinean researchers and published in the Journal of Environmental Science and Health titled, “Influence of herbicide glyphosate on growth and aflatoxin B1 production by Aspergillus section Flavi strains isolated from soil on in vitro assay,”[1] adds to an increasing body of research indicating that glyphosate (aka Roundup), the primary herbicide used in GM agriculture, is seriously undermining the quality of our global food supply, and may help to explain recent observations that GM corn heavy markets, such as the U.S., have a significant aflatoxin problem.[2]   Continue reading “Study Links Roundup ‘Weedkiller’ To Overgrowth of Deadly Fungal Toxins”

The UN nuclear agency crushed an effort of Arab states to reign in nuclear Israel, rejecting a non-binding resolution on Friday that would have compelled Israel to join the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and place its arsenal under International Atomic Energy Agency supervision.

“Israel has once again become the exception to international norms to reduce the potential of nuclear war and reduce nuclear weapons,” Deborah Agre from the Middle East Children’s Alliance told Common Dreams.   Continue reading “UN Stamps Out Measure to Reign In Nuclear Israel”
