I pretty much agree with most everything he said EXCEPT the part about Muslims in the old Ottoman Empire and at other times NOT FORCING conversion to Islam. Just as Spain and Portugal and others FORCED Native South Americans, Native North Americans, Native Caribbeans, etc. to convert to Christianity (the going through the motions kind…most Natives never truly took Christ as their Savior and kept their pagan beliefs–which means they never truly converted!), the Ottoman Muslims did the same thing in Europe (which is why Albania is majority Muslim, for one thing, and why in about twenty years so will the rest of Europe), and other Arab entities did the same thing. If Muslim men can force Muslim women to wear clothing over their entire bodies living in 100 degree temps like Saudi Arabia, then Muslims can force conversions of else. Or did millions of people in what was once called Palestine in the Bible that converted from Judaism to Christianity, or remain in Judaism suddenly convert to Islam because they wanted to? Gimme a break, O’Keefe! As for the notion of not converting to Islam not penalizing the folks who didn’t and managed to survive it, you, Mr. O’keefe, I am sure has heard of something called Dhimmitude–which was the Ottoman version of indentured servitude! Next time, Mr. O’Keefe, do a little research okay?
