Georgia School Reinstates Paddle Policy

World Events and the Bible

WEB Notes: This is fantastic. Our world needs more discipline, the lack of discipline is one of the reasons why it is a mixed up mess. The ol “paddle” or “stick” as some call it is a great motivator to do what is right. This is right inline with the Bible in case you are wondering…

Turn with me to,

Proverbs 13:24
24
“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.”

If you do not use the rod on your children, you truly lack some element of love for them.

Why?

When you have to use the “rod,” “paddle” or “stick” it takes a great measure of sacrifice on the parents part. It is not fun giving a child a swat, but it enforces discipline. It teaches lessons that children will remember for the rest of their lives.

The flip side of this verse tells us, we love our children when we give them a swat.

Why?

Giving someone “tough love”, is the hardest love to give someone. It is easy to laugh, and play all day. But to swat your child means you care about them so deep, you will even bring them a little bit of pain in order to keep them on the right course of life.

We have heard some parents say, “we chose not to spank, it is what is best for our family.”

Well, more power to you I say!

But then those same parents go to parenting classes and have counciling sessions for their children.

Now why do you think that is?

What could be one of the reasons?

On the other hand, other parents who do use the “stick” are constantly told how well behaved their children are. They are told what a great family they have.

So don’t you get all soft on me now, you stick with your Father’s Word. He said giving a swat is a good thing.

A swat is not a beating and a swat should not take place when you are mad! You are teaching a lesson, not releasing anger!

A swat is a swat, do not be afraid to do it, it reaps great rewards.

An area school recently sent home consent forms informing them of a new corporal policy at an area school. The superintendent says they’ve received a little over a hundred forms back, a third of them giving consent to paddle their child.

“In this school, we take discipline very seriously,” said Jody Boulineau, Superintendent of GSIC.

GSIC is going old school with a new policy for this year.

“There was a time where corporal punishment was kind of the norm in school and you didn’t have the problems that you have,” the Superintendent said.

“There’s no obligation, it’s not required. A parent can either give consent for us to use that as a disciplinary measure or they can deny consent,” he said.

The form spells it out: a student will be taken into an office behind closed doors. The student will place their hands on their knees or piece of furniture and will be struck on the buttocks with a paddle.

The form says no more than three licks should be given. Superintendent Boulineau says the parent response has been across the board.

” I’ve heard ‘great, it’s about time, ‘we’re so glad that this is happening again, they should’ve never taken it out of schools’. All the way to ‘oh my goodness I can’t believe you are doing that’.”

  1. Paddle kids WTF?

Why not just let a cop Taser or beat them?

Does this mean that students will be forced to play “paddle ball”?

“Paddle ball is a one-person game played with a paddle and an attached ball. Using the flat paddle with the small rubber ball attached at the center via an elastic string, the player tries to hit the ball with the paddle in succession as many times as possible.”

    1. I GOT MY ASS TORE UP IN SCHOOL SEVERAL TIMES WITH A PING PONG PADDLE……………
I STILL HAD GREAT TEACHERS THAT MY PARENTS KNEW FROM CHILDHOOD………
I WOULD NOT ALLOW MY SON TO BE “PADDLED” IN HIS SCHOOL BECAUSE I DIDNT REALLY KNOW THOSE PEOPLE, AND HAD SEVERAL ARGUMENTS WITH THEM OVER MY PARENTING ABILITY, THAT CULMINATED IN MY THREATENING ASSHOLES, SO NO….. I DONT BELIEVE IN THAT SHIT, NOT WITHOUT PARENTS PERMISSION………………………………

  2. I’m guessing that Georgia has a teacher shortage, but now that they have an excuse to pull kids’ pants down, every pedophile teacher (and there are a lot of them) is on their way to the Peach State right now.

Yeah….paddle that cute young tush. A new fringe benefit for Georgia teachers.

  3. Yeah, we shouldn’t have our young ones in those schools, but there many still sit.

    Myself… The nuns hit me.

Now, touch my kids, I’ll kill you.

And that goes for any institution, not just the gov training camps. Them’s my kids. Got it?!!

    1. It isn’t about parents disciplining their children, it’s about giving that right to known paedos, power mongers, sexual deviants, and lgbtqiaaxyz’s the “legal” permission to arbitrarily physically and psychologically get their rocks off on someone else’s kid. This is the responsibility of the PARENT, NOT one of the aforementioned above. You might also notice that there tends to be a pattern of abuse carried out by those who are given absolute power. If you’d like to see examples of that abuse, please see the rest of FTTWR website and let us know if you think that the state should be responsible for such decisions.

        1. To empower The State, and any of its arms (schools, etc.) is to hasten more full-blown slavery and abuse. State power is the wet-dream of the snowflake, and not of the parent who sees the disciplining of his child as his own duty.

          .

          1. Exactly, Galen. The state reliant snowflake was created specifically by the state to create further reliance on it. Seeking redress from the very source that intentionally constructed the problem/reaction/solution in the first place only gives them the power they sought.

      1. Right on, Martist. And to your list of their perversions, I’ll just add sadism. Sadistic bastards!!

I can’t help but wonder how much more we can take.

There is no mention of the amount of force that might be used. Yes, that’s hard to define. But will there be welts? Bruises? And how about the psychological effects from shaming and dehumanizing?

What a short-sighted solution this is, and those parents who are buying in are likely snowflakes on some level or another. Same ones who’ll take our guns.
