“You people are disgusting”, says an illegal alien supporter to a counter protester, out front of the “Yes On 88” rally that took place in downtown Portland on Oct. 13, 2014. Measure 88 would give “driver cards” to illegal aliens in the state. A small band of protesters showed up and were immediately harassed, ridiculed, blocked, and interrupted when trying to do interviews with TV stations.
On hand supporting the lawlessness were Governor John Kitzhaber, state representative Lew Frederick, Pastor WJ Mark Knutson, Reverend Kate Lore, Tom Chamberlain (Oregon AFL-CIO), Reyna Lopez (currently with Causa, former Bus Project organizer), Graham Trainor (organizer with AFL-CIO), and a few local TV stations who completely botched trying to ask the governor the tough questions as he slithered out the back door.

Reverend Kate Lore, “social justice” minister for the First Unitarian Church, wants to help people break immoral laws, but then has a hard time explaining what exactly an “immoral law” is, and seems perplexed by realistic situations where immoral laws would be broken that are counter to what her church supposedly stands for. All the while, her church is supporting a political rally that welcomes illegal aliens.

Seems like “STOP THE HATE” is about the only thing they can say, other than having the prejudice of knowing what jobs Americans “refuse to do”. At least this gal is friendly and polite about things.

One of Tom Chamberlains’ right hand men, Graham Trainor, sure loves Measure 88. So much so that that’s his only answer for any question tossed his way. You’d think that the AFL-CIO “political and field director” would be a bit more knowledgeable on a host of issues. But, alas, he’s more interested in blocking cameras and signs while snapping pictures of me.

Pastor Knutson, of Portland’s Augustana Lutheran church, encourages illegal immigration, tries to redirect the conversation with scripture, but then has no answer when asked about children in American schools being infected with diseases that are being brought over from illegal alien children. Pastor Knutson obviously care more about scoring political points than he does about the safety of children.

Full speech of Governor John Kitzhaber speech given at the “Yes on 88” event. The event was held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the First Unitarian Church. Introductions are provided by Andrea Miller the Director of Causa. Measure 88 provides Oregon resident “driver card” without requiring proof of legal residence in the United States. The result of “Yes” vote directs Department of Transportation to issue “driver card” to Oregon resident meeting specified eligibility, without requiring proof of legal presence in United States.
I’m so tired of these self-important, out of touch with reality types. They are so full of self righteousness, they’d sell their grandmas to inhance their own self delusions that they know whats best for the rest of us. I’ve been encountering them for years and attempts at rational discussions are always turned into ad hominums and evasions. I’ve quit trying as only one in a million is open minded enough to consider a disagreeing poin of view.
What part of the word “Illegal” don’t they understand?
The problem is that these idiots think that by rallying they are solving problems. After they rally they go back to their lovely homes with their white picket fences and drink wine, eat cheese and crackers and pat each other on the back to “the good they’ve done”. Reality is they haven’t done a Damn Thing to solve any problems at all, in fact they are the ones who are helping the P.T.B. to enforce their agenda’s while the rest of us are paying the price. Self righteous idiots!
Let’s have an “illegal alien” rally in communist Mexico and see how fast we end up in jail!
