SCARY MOVIES
The film Final Hours shows a possible THEORY on how our planet has experienced five major extinctions in geologic history and how “our prolific production of greenhouse gases has the ability to trigger a sixth mass extinction.”
The movie “2012” was one of the best opportunistic movies of all time partly because of that opportunism, but also because it ignored the original thesis for its birth – the Hapgood-Einstein theory of Polar ice displacement, never allowing the audience in this particular belief system any reason for such a catastrophe, let alone Hapgood’s – and it still became a blockbuster. Why? Because of all the conflicting “End Time” hype floating around outside of Hapgood and Einstein.
Before reading this story, keep in mind one fact: Carbon Dioxide is plant food and the more of it plants get, the faster they grow, the bigger their fruits and vegetables are and the more nutritious, like in a greenhouse…
Now imagine that you are living on the bottom of a sea of gaseous and liquid nutrients and walkng around on a ground full of solid nutrients, all gathered together by various interconnected living entities in that system, of which you are just one individual, each living being involved in the system swapping ‘waste products’ with each other in a continuous cycle – one family, the animals, breathing out carbon dioxide for the plants, dropping phosphates et al for the Earth’s nutrient replenishment, and another, much larger bunch, the plants from plankton to little green apples ‘breathing’ out the oxygen that mammals use for fuel traded for the use of carbon dioxide making the linear concept ’food chain’ a misnomer.
We can live about three minutes without Air, three days without Rain (the purest of water) and about three weeks without solid food from the Earth,
With ‘man-made’ food packed with chemicals we just tend to get fat, but we look like were alive.
Let’s look at one nutrient we need to live – nitrogen. ”Air is 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.039% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases including a variable amount of water vapor, on average around 1%) and we can’t get at the nitrogen without other living beings called bacteria ‘fixing’ it for us… what a partnership… symbiosis? Biosphere?
The Earth is a closed ecosystem driven by ‘wavicle’-charged energy packages called sunshine! Um… the Earth is a big greenhouse, guys.
Because we are not conscious of being in that imaginary nutrient sea I like to call ’Greenhouse Earth’, we will freak when the supermarkets run out of food during any service delivery disruption caused by Katrinas or Sarahs… or the people trying to scare you out of growing your own food on a community basis, the bigger the better – unlike Air, Rain and sunlight, that’s one of the things you have to work the Earth for.
But the best food supply chain on Earth is the one that starts in a nearby community garden and ends up on your table.
Which one of these scenarios is believeable? These two pics from NASA…
The Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific has remained blocked by pack-ice all year. More than 20 yachts that had planned to sail it have been left ice-bound and a cruise ship attempting the route was forced to turn back.
Some eminent scientists now believe the world is heading for a period of cooling that will not end until the middle of this century – a process that would expose computer forecasts of imminent catastrophic warming as dangerously misleading.
Or this ‘picture’…
WORLD BANK: “Consider this: nearly all life on Earth could go extinct because of manmade climate change.”
Internationally syndicated talk show host and bestselling author Thom Hartmann released a devastatingly powerful new film, LAST HOURS. A jolting wake-up call for humanity, this 10-minute film describes a terrifying science-based scenario where runaway climate change is triggered by massive releases of frozen methane. Here’s the devastating part: the melting of these trillions of tons of carbon is already underway.”
Personally, I’d call it Sciencc Fiction, but please make up your own mind…
So what is methane? Also called Natural Gas but “Methane” sounds more ominous, it’s that very profitable stuff underneath the Palestinian-owned coastal waters that Israel is illegally mining
Natural gas, or Methane is used directly to heat homes and commercial buildings. It is also used in the generation of electric power. During the past decade natural gas accounted for about 1/5 of the total energy consumption worldwide, and about 1/3 in the United States – valuable, profiable stuff…
Natural gas is often found with petroleum deposits. Before it is distributed, natural gas usually processed and the cleaned gas is then distributed throughout the world in thousands of miles of pipeline. Local utility companies add a nice smell before delivering the gas to their customers, who might otherwise think the end of the world was nigh.
The World Bank’s video wants you to put the idea that the ice caps are melting into your head as “real”… but is it? The NASA sattelile pictures say otherwise.
This is a well-made film with expensive ‘production values’ that help make it as believable as 2012, but for the wrong reasons;
The World Bank says, “If we do not begin to significantly curtail the use of carbon-based fossil fuels, this freed methane threatens to radically accelerate the speed of global warming, potentially producing a disaster beyond the ability of the human species to adapt.”
The film documents how our planet has experienced five major extinctions in geologic history and how our prolific production of greenhouse gases has the ability to trigger a sixth mass extinction.
Don’t get out alive pic
“By the end of the Permian mass extinction, 95 percent of all life on the planet was dead. And why is this important today? Because today a sixth extinction is underway, one that will test the survival of not just human civilization, but possibly of the human species itself. And it bears a horrifying resemblance to several previous global warming-driven events like the Permian mass extinction.
“Earth is sending us an urgent and unmistakable message, one that we ignore at our own peril. Failure to drastically slash carbon emissions now could mean the end of humanity.
But, but, but, we made through that Permian thing, hey Dudes? Isn’t that more important today?
