  1. Yep, I even haul flowers, these require special temperatures. Came from farm in Somis, Calii.

      1. You know Katie, I really dont know, these I’m taking to an Orchid distribution center in ill. Have no idea after that.

A portion of this load came from a container ship in Redondo beach Ca from overseas, another from a farm in Somis Ca..

And yes, the farm was Chinese owned, I dealt with Chinese and Mexicans from Somis. Again, I’m watching Chinese farm owners speaking Spanish to the help, it was like putting a square object into a round hole, damndest thing.

You know learning spanish by these Chinese took some study and hard work to learn the language. Definitely planned, they knew/hired illegals to work the farms. Creeps!

  2. Mark, you sure do get the flavor of the nation with all your travels.

Those are some magical mountains there. I know your job is hard as hell, but you get to see such beauty and mystery. I hope that helps a bit.

    1. If you only knew the half of it Galen, waaaaay underpaid, but this is my life, been doing it alot of years.

Yes, I see beautiful things from my office window, take alot of it for granted I guess.

Drive beautiful brand new equipment, took me ten years to finally be comfortable with everything. Alot going on with this gig.

Learning to operate safely took alot of years.

      1. I hate them for taking advantage of you.

And I don’t know why the hell I’m optimistic, but I’m envisioning good things ahead for all true Trenchers.

  3. Wow, Mark! That’s quite a beautiful site! That almost looks like the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park near the border of Utah and Arizona. Every time I see mountains like those, I immediately think of Resident Evil movies and underground bases possibly inside and underneath those things that people take for granted passing by everyday. Who knows what’s really hidden in those things. Practically every National Park is an underground base, so you have to wonder.
