  1. Let’s see….an explosive device. Remember when you were in 6th grade and there was one kid who knew how to take a couple of match heads, then stick them in a writing pen, they click the clicker on the pen which lit the matches and it smoked and stunk like heck? Back then it was “ha ha very funny now don’t do that again you stunk up the room”……today with our police state it’s suspension from school and 5 years in the can. It’s sickening.

    1. Yep, I remember those days when the lab had a stink bomb once a year. The teachers just said, “Oh well. We’re going to have class in the next room today while we wait until the air clears out through the open windows.” Where’s the principal? In his office doing administrative work. And that was in ’97.

Today, it’s “QUICK! To the football field. It might be a bomb. Call the fire department, the police, an ambulance even. Alert the media! Pre-sell the movie rights!” And somewhere in between, the principal is notified and someone is either suspended or in handcuffs or 5 years in prison. Unfrigginbelievable!

  2. “A student suspect was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a potentially explosive device was found at Seven Lakes High School, according to Katy ISD officials.”

And what device was that? A fire extinguisher?

“Students who drove to school and currently have the keys in their possession may leave after their car has been cleared to go.”

Here we go with the indoctrinating students (our children) with the car searches and the further pissing on their 4th Article Rights.

    1. Ha NC remember that saying in that show – I cannot remember the name of it – that goes ” this is my rifle, this is my gun, this is for fighting and this is for fun” .

  3. ” A student suspect was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a potentially explosive device was found…………”

The key word here being what?

    “POTENTIALLY”.

What a crock. Just another ‘drill’.
