Automation Is The Best Argument Against Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants

Video Rebel’s Blog

The best argument against anything is the one that people listen to. The core supporters of the Democratic party which favors unlimited legal immigration and Amnesty for illegal aliens can be motivated by fear of automation  to say No to Wall Street’s plan to starve them to death.

The other day I was talking to a delivery driver about driverless cars, trucks and buses. He immediately saw the threat. Amazon’s new warehouse is automated and runs with fewer low paid employees and more robotics. Robotics is being introduced into China and other Asian nations where the US sent 56,000 manufacturing plants.

I decided to write this after I saw the following.

No human hand touched this hamburger. It was made entirely by robots

One robot, rather—a 24 square foot gourmet-hamburger-flipping behemoth built by Momentum Machines. It looks like this:

The San Francisco-based robotics company debuted its burger-preparing machine last year. It can whip up hundreds of burgers an hour, take custom orders, and it uses top-shelf ingredients for its inputs. Now Momentum is proposing a chain of ‘smart restaurants’ that eschew human cooks altogether.

Food Beast points us to the Momentum’s official release, where the company blares:

“Fast food doesn’t have to have a negative connotation anymore. With our technology, a restaurant can offer gourmet quality burgers at fast food prices. Our alpha machine replaces all of the hamburger line cooks in a restaurant. It does everything employees can do except better.”

And what might this robotic burger cook of the future do better than the slow, inefficient, wage-sucking line cooks of yore?

It slices toppings like tomatoes and pickles only immediately before it places the slice onto your burger, giving you the freshest burger possible. …custom meat grinds for every single customer. Want a patty with 1/3 pork and 2/3 bison ground after you place your order? No problem. It’s more consistent, more sanitary, and can produce ~360 hamburgers per hour.

Furthermore, the “labor savings allow a restaurant to spend approximately twice as much on high quality ingredients and the gourmet cooking techniques make the ingredients taste that much better.” Hear that? Without all those cumbersome human workers, your hamburger will be twice as good. For the same cost.

I don’t doubt this is where we’re heading; robots are making inroads in manufacturing, farming, and they’re doing more domestic work around the house, too. Yeah, robots are taking our jobs, and it’s not a question of if, but when and how. Economists often treat the service industry as some last bastion of downsize-proof labor, but, clearly, robots will make sandwiches and take orders, too.

A future where we can get gourmet burgers, cheaply and on the quick, sounds pretty nice. But that future will also have structural unemployment, unless we start taking major strides to rethink and reform how we work in a world where robots are doing much of the heavy lifting. If we can, with robots flipping all the burgers, and the right social policies, maybe at least a semi-techno-utopia is on the way…

Of course, in a world of de minimus capital costs (courtesy of an apparently job-creating-mandated Fed), why wouldn’t the McDonalds of the world adopt such a strategy. The outcome, as we explained before, is all too obvious…

What happens after that should be clear to everyone: more unemployment, lower wages for the remaining employees, worse worker morale, but even higher profits to holders of capital. And so on. Because in a world in which technology makes the unqualified worker utterly irrelevant, this is what is known as “progress.”

The base of the Democrat party consists of 23 million government workers, minorities including illegal aliens and white people with subsidized incomes through Food Stamps and other transfer payments.

Long ago Republicans resisted entering WW II. The Republican party was hijacked by Wall Street and Israel. Now their leadership favors unlimited wars for Israel and Amnesty for illegal aliens. The Democrat party used to take donations from labor unions. But their leadership voted for NAFTA and sent 56,000 manufacturing plants overseas. Now their donations come from Wall Street, Zionists and munitions manufacturers. They do not care about their voters. At some point government workers will realize that their pay depends upon the ability of non-government workers to earn money so those exploited ones can pay taxes to support the privileged amongst us..

It is beyond the ability of the average Obama voter to understand that we cannot afford to subsidize workers with Food Stamps, free health care and other subsidies.(Please note I did not vote for Romney, McCain and anyone named Bush.)

What happens when the the dollar collapses and we cannot sell US Treasury bonds? Prices will double and we will end what Keynes called Monetary Illusion. He said that he would expand the currency and spend that money to pave over societal problems. However, when Monetary Illusion ends, you can increase the Money Supply by 10% and raise prices 20% which makes everyone poorer. Why? Because Money turns over faster after the Illusion ends. People rush out to spend their pay as soon as they get it. On the 4th of July in 2008 a bottle of beer in Zimbabwe rose from 100 to 150 billion dollars between 5 and 6:30 PM. In America I would not expect prices to go up more than 10% a month after they had doubled.

The US military at some point would have to intervene and declare martial law. They would have to arrest the bankers and seize their assets to gain popular approval.

The problem with Amnesty is that it does permanent damage to the economy for short term political gain. Most Republican and Democratic leaders get orders from people who are planning a Race War to destabilize America so black, white, Asian and Hispanic people impoverished by Wall Street greed will be thinking about surviving a Race War rather than trying to band together to enforce our banking laws and to seize the Federal Reserve.

I do not think the dollar will last long. The Baltic Dry Index which measure international trade started 2014 at its lowest point in decades. And now over the weekend the Index dropped another 18% from its low. The Baltic Dry Index measures trade in the raw materials. These low levels mean that manufacturers do not need raw materials because they have no orders.

We need every argument we can find to stop Amnesty because we must avoid a Race War at all costs.

I recently wrote ‘So If 30,000 People within 50 Miles Of Your House Starve To Death’

It did not prove to be popular because it depressed too many people. But that could be our future in as little as a few months.

I have written in depth about a Racial Civil War as Wall Street’s preferred Exit Strategy. Try this:

Please remember this litmus test when you see new leaders popping up all over the place as soon as the dollar collapses and wages are cut 50% overnight.

I have written satires about the bankers. This is one of my more recent ones:

  1. Again, if there is no one able to buy things because there are no jobs, then how will this help anyone, let alone our illegal immigration problem? This will not only starve the illegals out, it will starve the rest of us out as well. Duh!
