An observation…
Nicotine withdrawal is really quite the miserable fking thing.
There would be no flinch liquidating the enemy.
Staying away from folk as much as possible is key.
I’m on day three no chewing tobacco. It’s for the better.
It gets easier. When I quit 12 years ago I would smoke the odd cigar, just for the nic fix. And doubled my cannabis intake. But the health benefits are amazing. Can run through the jungle like I am 18 again. Smoked 10 to 15 cigarrettes a day for 23 years. My wife was double that and we quit together, we had a deal. If one of us quit for 30 days the other had to quit as well. She quit Jan.1st 2010. I quit 30 days later. LOL
“Nicotine withdrawal is really quite the miserable fking” Yes it is Hal, take it one day at a time. I made it 5 days but honestly my anxiety got the best of me. After Doc’s heart attack he stopped cold turkey and never looked back.
congrats to all of you kicking it
hang in there Misty, even cutting back is a help

I was up to three packs a day when I quit. I was drunk on whiskey and about to light another one when the thought occurred to me that I didn’t need them, the thing that helped me most is that I didnt “ try “ to quit, I just quit. That was 29 yrs ago and I don’t miss them.
Don’t drink anymore either. Im pretty boring these days but I feel good.
