Henry, today on Procedural Due Process you said:
“You gotta convince 12 other people to step in with you when it’s their right on the line, too.”
Made me think that if all who understand what’s at stake, made a concerted effort each day, with this goal of “convincing,” chances are a lot of people could be reached. To work to “convince” is to be fully invested in restoring freedom.
Also reminds me of an old saying that I don’t remember verbatim, but it was something like:
“That which we allow to be done to others can be visited on ourselves.”
You also said:
“They’ve removed our ability to prosecute our lives and prosecute our country. And that’s our authority; that’s what belongs to us; that’s what makes us free.”
This was such an eye-opener for me. I just never thought in those terms. It is very empowering to think of oneself as capable of, and entitled to, executing justice.
