This is the shocking moment a wealthy Ukrainian student fired a gun at pedestrians from a fifth-floor balcony.
The footage from central Kharkiv shows the shooter standing on a balcony while aiming a black pistol with two hands.
He fires two shots towards the street then a further three into the air before turning inside with a smile on his face and saying: ‘Someone is going to call the cops.’
The student then bragged about the shooting on his Instagram page where it was found by police who arrested him and three friends who were there at the time.
The Instagram page, which carries the name damn.sultan, has now been shut down.
It showed the student posing in numerous selfies at the gym, at university and in his friend’s apartment.
Earlier in October, the student posted a picture with a gun near the office of one of the deans of Kharkiv National University.
According to Newsroom, the account had a link to the shooter’s VKontakte (Russian Facebook) page where he was signed up as Roman Dobrenky.
Although no-one was injured, the students are reportedly under house arrest with criminal proceedings started against them.
They face three to seven years in jail for ‘hooliganism with the use of firearms’.
