The FDA owns a patent on cannabis, recognizing its medicinal value by labeling it as a schedule I narcotic but “with no accepted medical uses”… except in conditions that require a schedule 1 narcotic that are not defined? A patent on a Natural medicine that has been proven to cure skin- and ovarian cancer, and has medicinal applications for dozens of illnesses?
These two two positions are in stark contradiction with one another, a kind of bureaucratic oxymoron… Either deliberate or just a ‘schedule one’ bureaucratic oversight?
It’s becoming more and more evident that over the last fifty million years the entire biosphere has evolved as a unit, a single entity made up of all interdependent life forms that exist within it – we are part of Nature… Like it or not folks, we’re animals who think we can think but behave more like bulls led around by a ring in the nose.
If we exclude ourselves or are cut off from the biosphere and do not or are prevented from participation in its vast genetic support structure, we get sick; our auto immune system, without living (raw) micro-nutritional support, weakens… in extreme cases of malnutrition and drug trauma, it collapses and the Auto Immune Deficiency Syndrome pops up (for the first time in history – we’ve never been abused this badly before), which is a presentation of a myriad symptoms of opportunistic diseases… but the revenue stream from ‘anti-retrovirals’ for a syndrome (a spread of symptoms, not a ‘disease’ at all) is doing very well indeed, thank you.
After hemp, medicinal plants like Turmeric, Garlic and Ginger are fast gaining ground in the West as ‘natural’ analgesics, anti-inflammatories, even cancer preventatives and ‘cures’… for a very good reason: they are.
Dr. Donald Abrams, MD, Chief of Hematology and Oncology at San Francisco General Hospital says that if cannabis were just discovered in the Amazon, people would be clamoring to make use of it – but instead, it suffers from the stigma of a ”street drug” and worse – from the stiff legal sanctions against its possession or use in many states and countries.
