Blessed prayer warrior friends……..
We apologize for being late today in getting out this update.
Jack’s wife Angie phoned this morning and advised us of the following: In her words, “things do not look good,” since Jack’s condition had not improved, and he remains on life support. The last of Jack’s 3 sons, and also a younger sister, were expected to arrive in Evansville by this evening, and we trust that by now they have. Ammunition dealers haven’t been told by state police when they’ll need to conduct background checks to comply with the NY Secure Ammunition and Firearms Act, because a statewide records database needed to do so is still under construction.
North country dealers, who are already combating higher ammunition costs, say they are frustrated with how the state has left them in limbo about the background checks, which are expected to drive the already-steep price of ammunition even higher. Stricken with bronchitis last month, I went to Walmart to pick up some medicine and alas, the first thing I saw was a motorcycle cop pulling over an old man in the Walmart parking lot. I guess this is the reward for buying our cheap Chinese slave goods. The man had made a left turn into the Walmart parking lot and was immediately stopped by an officer who wrote him a ticket for an illegal left turn. (You’d think they would put turn lanes in front of a Walmart?) Afterwards I went out and took some photos of the officer hiding in the bushes lying in wait for his next ‘customer.’ Video and photos of the cop are below. This was the Walmart located at Foothill Blvd. and Benson Ave in Upland, CA. Continue reading “Walmart shoppers greeted by traffic tickets: Cops hiding in bushes ticket customers as they go in”

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has a newly minted SWAT team. To be sure, the agency maintains that this “cadre of specialty teams” will focus on search-and-rescue missions. However, the way Game Warden Cullen Stakes is dressed in the photo above makes it pretty clear that he’s not getting ready to rescue people who have been stranded by floods, or have gotten lost in the woods.
Among the TPWD’s specialized units is the “Scout Team,” a group of 25 wardens who “have received a variety of training and can be used in border operations, dignitary protection, or any form of high-risk law enforcement, such as serving felony arrests or hostage situations,” explains Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine. U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents and U.S Attorneys held secret meetings with drug trafficking organizations, especially the Sinaloa cartel, on Mexican soil, revealed Mexico-based newspaper El Universal.
The DEA and the U.S. Attorney’s office are both components of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
Official and court documents from the U.S and Mexican governments were cited as the source in the Jan. 6 news report. Continue reading “DEA, U.S. Attorneys Secretly Met with Drug Cartels in Mexico to Obtain Info on Rivals”
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States said on Tuesday it will send 800 more soldiers and about 40 Abrams main battle tanks and other armored vehicles to South Korea next month as part of a military rebalance to East Asia after more than a decade of war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The battalion of troops and M1A2 tanks and about 40 Bradley fighting vehicles from the 1st U.S. Cavalry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas, will begin a nine-month deployment in South Korea on February 1. Continue reading “United States sending more troops and tanks to South Korea”

Experts say no link to Fukushima.
Following reports of abnormally high radiation readings on a beach in San Francisco, experts have discovered radiation hot spots measuring 1,400 per cent above normal background levels, although they are keen to stress there is no link to Fukushima.
As we reported on Monday, after a viral video emerged showing a man recording measurements of over 150 micro-REM per hour, 500 per cent normal background radiation, on a beach south of Pillar Point Harbor, San Mateo County officials confirmed the spike but said they were “befuddled” as to the cause. Dear caring friends of Jack McLamb,
This message requires no response, but is sent only to advise of a current situation, and to ask you to join with us in special prayer for Jack, and also for Angie.
Yesterday, Monday morning, Jack collapsed at home while Angie was assisting him in the shower. He was rushed to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana, and as of now, 24 hours later, Jack remains under intensive care. While it took paramedics only 7 minutes to arrive at the home where they administered CPR immediately, it is feared that Jack may have been without oxygen for a few intervening moments, and hence a concern about possible brain damage. Let us all hope and pray not. Continue reading “Peace Officer Jack McLamb is in Intensive Care”

Amid an escalation of fighting in war-torn Iraq, the Obama administration announced Monday it will accelerate the shipment of Hellfire missiles and surveillance drones to the Nuri al-Maliki regime, a move critics charge will only worsen the cycles of violence set in motion by the U.S. invasion.
“The last thing Iraq needs right now is more weapons,” said Phyllis Bennis, senior fellow at Institute for Policy Studies, in an interview with Common Dreams. Continue reading “US Rushes Weapons to Iraq Crisis It Unleashed”
Last summer, the Clerk of Court in Franklin County, N.C., Patricia Chastain discovered documents dating back to 1840 in their courthouse basement. After organizing a project with the local historical society to reserve these valuable documents, the government intervened. And now the documents have been destroyed. Lost forever.
Some records were ruined by the mold, but most were completely viable. Continue reading “Government seizes and destroys 160-year-old historical documents; genealogists and historians are outraged”

In the midst of the holiday season Congress decided to pass the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014 or NDAA. The bill was later signed into law by President Obama with little if any fanfare. When this happened much of the corporate media was focusing in on invented news stories like the Duck Dynasty garbage. What’s really sad is that it is doubtful that many members of Congress have even read the bill at all. If they did in fact read it and voted for it knowing what was in it than there is little doubt that they have violated their oath of office and should be held accountable. The NDAA contains a number of highly questionable sections that run contrary to the principles articulated in the United States Constitution. Specifically, language contained in the bill appears to authorize cyber warfare operations against the American people. In a “Friday media dump” designed to conceal its actions by releasing them after the press has left town, the Obama administration last week announced its intention to push two regulations which would massively expand the federal gun bans imposed on Americans.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Just how cold is it in Kentucky? Apparently cold enough for an escaped prisoner to decide to turn himself in.
Authorities said the inmate escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington on Sunday. As temperatures dropped into the low single digits Monday, officials say the man walked into a motel and asked the clerk to call police. Continue reading “Police: In cold, escaped inmate turns himself in”
Following continued news of disturbing sea life occurrences off the West Coast, scientists in Mexico’s Scammon’s Lagoon, also known as Laguna Ojo de Liebre, have discovered what appears to be the first ever documented case of conjoined gray whale calves.

A gunmaker based in Utah turned down $15 million last week, refusing to sell high-precision sniper rifles to Pakistan for fear that U.S. troops could end up in their firearms’ sites.
“We don’t know that those guns would’ve went somewhere bad, but with the unrest we just ended up not feeling right about it,” Desert Tech sales manager Mike Davis told KTVX-TV. Continue reading “Utah gunmaker turns down $15 million from Pakistan”
Workers at a tire plant in Northern France have taken two managers hostage until Goodyear (the firm that owns the plant and has been trying to shutter it for years) meets the mabor unions demands. WSJ reports, as Goodyear winds down operations with the plant almost idle, French labor law requires the company to keep all workers employed, which means many of them don’t work more than a couple of hours a day while still getting full salary. The situation is why Titan International’s Maurice Taylor blasted that he “would be stupid” to operate the plant on that basis. Continue reading “Angry French Union Workers Take Two Bosses Hostage”
