A Salem man, who had barricaded himself in his Meadow Street apartment, killed himself after multiple devices exploded in the residence. Authorities said that the explosions prompted police to evacuate people from its neighborhood.
According to a statement issued by the Essex District Attorney’s office the 49 years old George Sprague was found dead in his home. Every year the MPAA spends millions of dollars in Washington to guarantee their anti-piracy interests are secured. In the most recent quarter the Hollywood group added several of its topics to the agenda of U.S. lawmakers, including Internet tax and net neutrality.

Federal employees who are issued so-called purchase cards are permitted to spend up to $3,000 — known as “micropurchases” — and do not have to disclose those purchases publicly.
A House Oversight subcommittee held a congressional hearing earlier this month on misuses of the government credit card, asking why federal employees were swiping the card for seemingly personal things like hair cuts, gym memberships and movie tickets. Two men are wanted by the Santa Ana, California police after striking and killing three teenage girls on Halloween night. The three teens were crossing the street in a crosswalk near Fairhaven Elementary school when the SUV struck and killed the girls around 6:45 p.m. Friday. The Orange County Fire Captain, Steve Conciadli, stated the identities of the girls have not been released, but they were estimated to be around 13-years-old. Two of the girls were killed at the scene, the third teen was being transported by paramedics, when she succumbed to her injuries. Officials shared two of the three girls were twin sisters. Hungary has decided to shelve a proposed tax on internet data traffic after mass protests against the plan.
“This tax in its current form cannot be introduced,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.

MATAMOROS, Mexico (AP) — Authorities are investigating a possible police connection to the killing of three U.S. citizens visiting their father in Mexico who were found shot to death along with a Mexican friend more than two weeks after going missing.
Parents of the three siblings, whose bodies were identified Thursday, have said witnesses reported they were seized by men dressed in police gear calling themselves “Hercules,” a tactical security unit in the violent border city of Matamoros wracked by cartel infighting. Multiple sources are reporting the early termination of this morning’s test flight of Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo, which suffered “an in-flight anomaly” at 16:09 UTC. The flight marked the first use of a new type of fuel to power the ship’s engine.
Unconfirmed reports from Twitter indicate that it is likely that one of SpaceShipTwo’s crew of two was killed in the accident. This information was picked up by at least one Twitter user listening to SpaceShipTwo’s air-to-ground radio over a local radio scanner audio feed. A former Marine who served in Iraq says he’s been banned from his daughter’s Maryland high school after a heated argument over a lesson on Islam.
Kevin Wood told MyFoxDC.com that he went to La Plata High School in La Plata, a town about 30 miles southeast of Washington, and challenged a history assignment requiring students to list the benefits of Islam. He said the meeting with the vice principal got heated; the school said he made a threat and banned the Iraq veteran from school property. The New York State Democratic Committee is bullying people into voting next week with intimidating letters warning that it can easily find out which slackers fail to cast a ballot next Tuesday.

Eric Frein, suspected of killing one Pennsylvania trooper and wounding another in a September ambush, was captured Thursday after 48 days on the run, the state police confirmed.
The 31-year-old Frein, who was one of the FBI’s 10-most-wanted fugitives, reportedly was armed when U.S. Marshals found him at a hanger at a small, abandoned airport in Tannersville. Barack Obama uses anyone or anything to avoid revealing any document which would supposedly help prove he was eligible to seek the Presidency of America. Why he did this? He knew disclosure would reveal a deception beyond belief. He deliberately fought against producing a valid “Certificate of Live Birth” from Hawaii which should have confirmed he was born there and was a natural-born American citizen. He could have brought a divided Nation together. Instead, he chose lying, falsifying documents (including an ineligible “Certification of Live Birth” which he, a former Constitutional teacher, knew was an ineligible document for a presidential aspirant. An election-watch group is suing Maryland over the alleged presence of noncitizens on the state’s voting rolls.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Baltimore, asserts that individuals who opted out of jury duty because they were not legal U.S. residents have cast ballots in at least three Maryland elections.

The US Federal Reserve has announced it is ending its quantitative easing (QE) stimulus program begun in 2008.
The Fed said it was confident the US economic recovery would continue, despite a global economic slowdown.

All soldiers returning from the Ebola mission in West Africa will undergo a 21-day quarantine.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel ordered military leaders to develop a plan within 15 days on how to carry out the “controlled monitoring regimen” for the approximately 4,000 troops that could be involved in the military’s Ebola operations, said Rear Adm.
