Forget all of the talk by the BLM about how they are “saving” animals. Poor little rich boy Ethan Couch is back in the news again.

You may recall the horrible case last year in which the boy from a wealthy family was prosecuted  for drunkenly mowing down and killing pedestrians while flinging two of the passengers from his truck.  Using the “affluenza” defense, it was said that young Ethan could not be sent to jail for his actions because he was just too darned rich to be punished. An attempt a couple of months later to prosecute him for a related crime reaped no better results, and punishment that included time behind bars was still not forthcoming.   Continue reading “Affluenza Teen’s Parents to Pay Only $1,170 a Month for Rehab that Costs $22,500 a Month”

Just in case chicken “nuggets” aren’t disgusting enough, now Tyson has been forced to recall more than 75,000 pounds of the melded poultry parts because of “extraneous material”.

Our friends and protectors at the Environmental Deception Protection Agency are so adamant about protecting us from air pollution that they are conducting dangerous experiments on human beings, some of them children.

Do you have an emergency kit in your vehicle?

Disaster never lets you know ahead of time when it’s going to strike.  In most cases, a person is out doing what they do every single day, like driving to or from work, when an emergency occurs. Sometimes people are on a recreational outing.  Whatever the case, it pays to be prepared. This can de-escalate a potentially life-threatening crisis down to an inconvenience.

I’ve written about a couple of incidents recently that resulted in people being stranded with only the supplies in their vehicles.  Last winter, a family was stranded for days in the frigid wilderness of the Nevada mountains during subzero temperatures.
