Dead cowsThe Organic Prepper

These photos are NOT for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.

Forget all of the talk by the BLM about how they are “saving” animals. During the tense stand-off between Cliven Bundy, backed by his fellow patriots, and the federal government, the rancher’s cattle were massacred by the BLM. These photos were just released and they show what those federal employees did to a bunch of cows who had the misfortune to be grazing on some grass that was in dispute.  The next time you hear some bleeding heart environmentalist talking about the federal government “protecting” the land and “saving” the animals, kindly direct them to this article.   Continue reading “BLM is (ahem) Saving the Tortoises…But Look at What They Did to Bundy’s Cows (Graphic)”

Citric acid art by Aaron Dykes, photo credit Aaron Dykes.Nutritional Anarchy – by Aaron Dykes

Just what is your food made of, anyway? Try industrial synthesis, genetically modified mold secretions, hydrochloric acid, mercury-contaminated caustic soda, ferrocyanide… and, of course, lots of GMO corn.

If common ingredients like “citric acid” and “ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)” sound normal and familiar enough that you practically conjure up an image of the flourishing orchard they were grown in – then think again.   Continue reading “A Sour Deception: Citric Acid Comes From GMO Black Mold, Not Fruit”

Asparagus is fresh from the garden this weekNutritional Anarchy

Nothing says “spring” like a plate full of asparagus, dripping with sweet butter. Tender delicious stalks of asparagus are appearing in gardens and farmer’s markets across North America right now.

First, some asparagus trivia…

Asparagus is a member of the lily family.  Historical records indicate the consumption of asparagus in Egypt in 3000 BC.  Ancient Greeks and Romans consumed it fresh and dried it to preserve it for out of season eating.   Continue reading “Fresh from the Garden: Asparagus”

affluenza-boy-300x168The Organic Prepper

Poor little rich boy Ethan Couch is back in the news again.

You may recall the horrible case last year in which the boy from a wealthy family was prosecuted  for drunkenly mowing down and killing pedestrians while flinging two of the passengers from his truck.  Using the “affluenza” defense, it was said that young Ethan could not be sent to jail for his actions because he was just too darned rich to be punished. An attempt a couple of months later to prosecute him for a related crime reaped no better results, and punishment that included time behind bars was still not forthcoming.   Continue reading “Affluenza Teen’s Parents to Pay Only $1,170 a Month for Rehab that Costs $22,500 a Month”

The Great American Grocery HoaxNutritional Anarchy

There is a big secret out there in the grocery store aisles that no one wants you to know.  There is a hoax of monumental proportions that is being perpetrated on the American public.

Before I tell you what it is, let me remind you of some things that you already know.

It’s no secret at all that the American economy is in dire straits. Unemployment has skyrocketed and today’s dollars buy a lot less than the dollars of just a few years ago. Even the most thrifty shopper will pay substantially more for a cart full of groceries.  To make matters worse, our country’s main food-producing areas have been devastated by droughts, and you can expect that prices will only go up from here.   Continue reading “The Great American Grocery Hoax”

The Psychology of SurvivalThe Organic Prepper

In a worst-case scenario, hesitation kills.

No one wants to accept that something horrible has happened.  The human brain is configured in a way that it is in our very nature to deny that something outside our normal paradigm has occurred. This is called cognitive dissonance.

“Cognitive dissonance is the feeling of discomfort when simultaneously holding two or more conflicting cognitions: ideas, beliefs, values or emotional reactions… Continue reading “He Who Hesitates is Lost: The Psychology of Survival”

Something Even Nastier than Usual Lurks in Tyson Chicken NuggetsNutritional Anarchy

Just in case chicken “nuggets” aren’t disgusting enough, now Tyson has been forced to recall more than 75,000 pounds of the melded poultry parts because of “extraneous material”.

Due to an issue with some of the processing equipments, consumers may find a little something extra in their “nuggets” – little bits of plastic.  The USDA reports:   Continue reading “Recall: Something Even Nastier than Usual Lurks in Tyson Chicken Nuggets”

Environmental Deception AgencyNutritional Anarchy – by Daisy Luther

Our friends and protectors at the Environmental Deception Protection Agency are so adamant about protecting us from air pollution that they are conducting dangerous experiments on human beings, some of them children.

Just to emphasize the importance of your soon-to-be-due carbon taxes, the EPA exposed vulnerable members of our population to deadly pollutants: the elderly, people with chronic health problems, and children.  What’s more – they never warned those participating in the study that the toxins they would be exposed to carried with them the risk of cancer and death.   Continue reading “The EPA Furthers the Carbon Tax Agenda with Deadly Human Experiments”

What to Do Before Grocery Rationing Starts in AmericaThe Organic Prepper

What if you were forced to “register” in order to buy groceries?  And what if, through that registration, the food you bought could be tracked and quantities could be limited?

That’s exactly the plan in Venezuela right now.  The AP reports that in an effort to crack down on “hoarding” that ID cards will be issued to families.  These will have to be presented before foodstuffs can be purchased.   Continue reading “Venezuela Enforces Fingerprint Registry to Buy Groceries: What to Do Before Rationing Starts in America”

The Importance of Illumination in Your PrepsThe Organic Prepper

How important is light?  Well, in the Bible, on the  first day, the very first thing God created was light. This signifies exactly how vital a role illumination plays in  any situation.

Any person who has ever moved from the city to the country can agree, there is no darkness quite like that of being in a place where there are no streetlights, no neon signs, no car headlights, and no light from nearby houses.   Continue reading “Let There Be Light: The Importance of Illumination in Your Preps”

You’re talking to a friend or family member who isn’t on board with preparedness.  (And it’s even worse when they think they know what’s going on in the world but garner their so-called “information” from network news sources.)  You try for the millionth time to get them to consider stocking up on a few things and they say this:   Continue reading “Forget Doom and Gloom: Preparedness is the Ultimate Act of Optimism”

conspiracy theoristThe Organic Prepper – by Daisy Luther

Do you believe in “medical conspiracy theories”? If so you are in good company.

According to a survey undertaken by professors at the University of Chicago, more than half of all Americans believe in one or more so-called “medical conspiracy theories”. Of course, most of us know that the derogatory term “conspiracy theory” is simply a way to marginalize those who think critically instead of blithely accepting the word of those who stand to make money off of our compliance.    Continue reading “Do You Believe in “Medical Conspiracy Theories”?”

There are many alarming trends throughout the American public school system, and one of the most unsettling relates to “terror drills.”

Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars wrote last week about “lockdown drills” run by the DHS:

The Department of Homeland Security is expanding its operations by running unannounced school lockdown drills, another sign of the federal agency’s encroachment into more areas of Americans’ lives.   Continue reading “Should Your Kids Know How to Bug Out…from School?”

How to Create a Vehicle Emergency KitThe Organic Prepper

Do you have an emergency kit in your vehicle?

Disaster never lets you know ahead of time when it’s going to strike.  In most cases, a person is out doing what they do every single day, like driving to or from work, when an emergency occurs. Sometimes people are on a recreational outing.  Whatever the case, it pays to be prepared. This can de-escalate a potentially life-threatening crisis down to an inconvenience.

I’ve written about a couple of incidents recently that resulted in people being stranded with only the supplies in their vehicles.  Last winter, a family was stranded for days in the frigid wilderness of the Nevada mountains during subzero temperatures. More recently, a freak snow storm hit the Atlanta, Georgia area causing a gridlock that left many travellers trapped in their vehicles overnight.   Continue reading “How to Create a Vehicle Emergency Kit”
