Two stained-glass windows honoring Confederate Gens. Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson at the Washington National Cathedral will be removed immediately, the cathedral says.

The facility’s leadership says the decision came after long deliberations on an important question: “Are these windows, installed in 1953, an appropriate part of the sacred fabric of a spiritual home for the nation?”   Continue reading “National Cathedral Is Removing Stained-Glass Windows Honoring Confederate Leaders”

There is a strong correlation between immigration—particularly illegal immigration—and wages.

The reason is simple — the economic principle of supply and demand. In the case of immigration, that means the more supply of workers, the lower the wages.

But liberal economists and proponents of mass immigration see immigration as an absolute economic good, insisting that immigration is necessary for the economy to grow. (Click here for the three reasons why liberals are wrong.)   Continue reading “Evidence that immigration depresses wages: U.S. & UK”

The City Council in Charlottesville, Virginia, voted Tuesday night to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson from a park after a public hearing punctuated by protests and chants of “Let her speak.”

Leftist militant groups, Antifa and By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), are led by public school teachers. BAMN organizer, Steve Conn and his wife, who also was a teacher, were fired from a Detroit high school for leading a protest which involved the use of pepper spray.  They sued and got their jobs back plus $300,000.  Conn was elected president of the Detroit Federation of Teachers in 2015.  Last year, 17 different BAMN members ran for elected positions on the Detroit Federation of Teachers.  BAMN also ran five candidates for different national leadership positions with the NEA in 2017. Joel Osteen’s reputation was submerged in the wreckage left behind by Hurricane Harvey — and at least one pastor says the televangelist got what he deserved.

John Pavlovitz, head of North Raleigh Community Church in North Carolina, said the “prosperity gospel” minister had discredited his faith by tweeting out banal platitudes as locals mosques and furniture stores offered shelter from the hurricane that flooded Houston.   Continue reading “Fellow Pastor Unleashes Holy Hell on Joel Osteen for His Disgraceful Response to Hurricane Harvey”

In case anyone wants to dive deep, this is on the yearly Burning Man festival, out in the Nevada desert on gov land.  Ha!!  It also covers other deceitful and destructive agendas that look like love and freedom but lead to debauchery and compliance.  One of the broadcasters calls Burning Man “The greatest psy-op of all time.”   Makes me wonder how to protect the young ones from this highly-crafted and near irresistible lure.  I’m only half-way through but there’s powerful dot-connecting.  It’s 5 hours, and so far, for me, riveting:
