In order to avoid future clashes with the citizens of Murrieta, Calif., over attempts to transfer illegal immigrants there, the Obama administration has turned to an unusual bedfellow: the Catholic Church. Deacon Luis Sanchez of the Diocese of San Bernardino tells National Review Online that an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent approached the diocese on July 2, 2014, and “expressed his desire for the Church to help in helping these families reach their destination.” Since that time, he says, diocesan officials have spoken on the phone with ICE, and they held a planning meeting on Monday.      Continue reading “The Obama Administration’s Border-Crisis Plan B: Use the Catholic Church”

Amid all the talk of recovery by politicians, economic officials and big business leaders, the fundamental numbers behind all the propaganda tell a starkly different story.

Adult illegal immigrants posing as unaccompanied alien children appear to be attempting to enroll at public high schools, city officials in Lynn, Mass., tell National Review Online.

“Some of them have had gray hair and they’re telling you that they’re 17 years old and they have no documentation,” Jamie Cerulli, the Lynn mayor’s chief of staff, tells NRO. “If my children went to the public schools, I’d be very uncomfortable with all of these unaccompanied minors [that] are placed in the ninth grade.”    Continue reading “Adult Illegal Immigrants Posing as Children To Enroll in High School”

Call it the ghost of the polar vortex, the polar vortex sequel, or the polar vortex’s revenge. Meteorological purists may tell you it’s not a polar vortex at all. However you choose to refer to the looming weather pattern, unseasonably chilly air is headed for parts of the northern and northeastern U.S at the height of summer early next week.

Bearing a haunting resemblance to January’s brutally cold weather pattern, a deep pool of cool air from the Gulf of Alaska will plunge into the Great Lakes early next week and then ooze towards the East Coast.   Continue reading “Poor man’s polar vortex to make shocking summer return in eastern U.S. next week”

The decision to enlarge the Southern California detention center for illegal immigrants in Adelanto is being excoriated by pro-immigrant advocacy groups. Instead, they are demanding that resources be used for children seeking asylum in the United States.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the center is currently being expanded to hold up to 1,950 illegal immigrants, up from its present capacity of 1,300. Additionally, a women’s housing unit will be built. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials welcome the new construction, arguing that it will accommodate more bed space required by the Los Angeles area. ICE spokeswoman Virgina Kice explained that ICE endeavors to detain the illegal immigrants in proximity to where they are arrested.    Continue reading “Pro-Illegal Immigrant Groups Decry Expanding Detention Center”

Department of Homeland Security officials are stonewalling lawmakers who try to make unannounced visits to immigrant detention facilities throughout the country and are closing off public roads along the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to keep journalists from reporting on the growing illegal immigration crisis, federal law enforcement officials told TheBlaze.

The officials said senior supervisors have made scheduling visits ahead of time mandatory at detention facilities, turned back officials from unannounced visits, and that Border Patrol agents have been forced to clean up facilities and transfer illegal aliens from unauthorized holding cells before they are inspected by lawmakers. Reporters have also been stopped by DHS officials from traveling along public access roads near the Rio Grande, where most of illegal immigrant children and groups are crossing into the U.S.   Continue reading “Border Patrol Official: DHS Ordered Illegal Immigrant Holding Facility ‘Cleared Out’ Before Congressional Visit”

Isn’t it strange that they refuse to fight Israel and want to fight Muslims instead? Almost makes you wonder if Israel is controlling them or if they were Mossad in disguise. Also makes you wonder if Al-Qaeda is CIA and ISIS is the Mossad.

Battered wife media syndrome returned to the spotlight this week when 38 journalism groups, led by the Society of Professional Journalists, complained to the Obama White House about numerous offenses that were summed up as the “politically-driven suppression of news.”

[A]s a result, they wrote, Obama only has himself to blame for the current cynicism of his administration. “You need look no further than your own administration for a major source of that frustration – politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies. We call on you to take a stand to stop the spin and let the sunshine in,” wrote David Cuillier, president of SPJ.    Continue reading “Journalist Groups Protest Obama’s ‘Suppression of the News’”
