WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the State Department to speed up the release of documents related to a decision made under former Secretary Hillary Clinton to allow a foreign defense contractor that admitted criminal wrongdoing to continue doing business with the Pentagon.

The Associated Press filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2013 for emails and internal memos involving a U.S. subsidiary of the British aerospace giant BAE Systems. AP sued after the State Department failed to provide those and other requested public records, including Clinton’s official calendars and emails transmitted through her private server.   Continue reading “Judge pushes for speedier release of Clinton-era documents”

Breitbart News reported on June 30 that House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) blinked days after a Democrat-sponsored sit-in, announcing he would allow a gun control vote this week. Representative Justin Amash (R-Mich-3rd), however, has issued a warning about HR 5611.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-23) sponsored the legislation and framed it in the language of fighting terrorism.   Continue reading “Rep. Justin Amash: GOP-Run House Voting to Ban Gun Ownership for ‘Pre-Crime’”

Just as our basic vocabulary grows and evolves on an almost daily basis, so too does our usage of technical terminology and acronyms.

For example, the president of our once-great Nation has been identified by the acronym “POTUS,” which used to stand for “President Of The United States.”   Continue reading “POTUS”

Fifty or so gun activists gathered Saturday morning at Sacramento’s Cesar Chavez Plaza to protest Gov. Jerry Brown’s signing of six gun control measures they said would turn “law-abiding citizens into criminals.”

One bill Brown signed will expand the state’s assault weapons ban to include “bullet-button” rifles, which allow users to quickly dislodge a magazine of ammunition by pressing a button. Others prohibit citizens from possessing magazines that hold more than 10 rounds and require background checks on people purchasing ammunition.   Continue reading “Gun rights activists say they won’t comply with California’s new laws”

We really have reached a point of such insanity across human civilization that governments have become the terrorists who actively seek to harm and kill off the people. The latest example demonstrating this very point is the fact that the EPA just announced its plan to allow gigantic increases in the allowable radioactivity in drinking water… increasing it by over 3,000 times in the case of radioactive Iodine-131… while calling it “safe” to drink even though it’s almost certain to give you cancer.   Continue reading “EPA raising the limit of radioactive elements in drinking water by over 3,000 times”

Democrats targeting content and control of the Internet, especially from conservative sources, are pushing hard to layer on new regulations and even censorship under the guise of promoting diversity while policing bullying, warn commissioners from the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Election Commission.

“Protecting freedom on the Internet is just one vote away,” said Lee E. Goodman, a commissioner on the FEC which is divided three Democrats to three Republicans. “There is a cloud over your free speech.”   Continue reading “Federal regulation of Internet coming, warn FCC, FEC commissioners”

Google has launched a new site that shows absolutely everything it knows about its users. And there’s an awful lot of it.

Three months after attacking Brussels airport, terrorists have shown in the attack on Istanbul’s international airport an alarming ability to stay one move ahead of the defenses put in place to stop them—an agility in planning that could present a new and serious threat to airports in the U.S.

Most experts agree that the Istanbul atrocity has the hallmarks of ISIS. Even then, the sophistication of how the attack was carried out has surprised them.

There are millions of Americans who want to restrict firearm ownership and use by one degree or another. While you may disagree with those people, at least they’re consistent. For the most part, die-hard gun grabbers don’t own firearms, and have probably never even held a gun before. They’re not hypocrites, unlike the handful of politicians and celebrities who often lead them.   Continue reading “Rep. Charlie Rangel: Only Politicians Need Firearms For Protection”
