A video shot by a local resident denying the Holocaust has been widely condemned by the community and at least one resident has filed a formal complaint with the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
On June 17, Monika Schaefer, a well-known Jasper resident and former Green Party candidate, appeared in a video on Youtube denying the Holocaust. The video was subsequently posted on her Facebook page. Continue reading “Video denying holocaust causes uproar”

Washington, DC – Police have locked down the nation’s Capitol building while they investigate the “sound of gunfire” in the garage of the Rayburn Building.
The garage is underground and adjacent to House of Representatives buildings. The entire complex has been placed on lockdown, with witnesses giving testimony to a House committee being interrupted in mid-sentence by the announcement. Reports from the Senate buildings, however, say that nothing unusual is going on and business is still continuing. A top staffer at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was fatally shot in Washington, D.C. on Sunday. Seth Conrad Rich was shot several times a block from his home in D.C.’s neighborhood of Bloomingdale.

Updated: Three people — including the shooting suspect — have been fatally shot during an attack on the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Footage has emerged showing a Russian guard wrestling down an American diplomat and alleged CIA spy before he enters the US embassy in the Russian capital Moscow.
The video, released Thursday by video news agency Ruptly, shows the guard tacking the man to the ground.

WASHINGTON — Mike Rawlings, mayor of Dallas and gun owner, is endorsing the president’s demand for a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines. He’s especially keen on universal background checks for gun buyers.
“We already say we can’t own Stinger rockets. So the question is where does the line go? The entire process to exonerate Hillary was highly orchestrated. The canary in the coal mine was the illegal meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. The Lynch/Comey connection stretches back to 2013 via HSBC and the Justice Department’s decision to not prosecute HSBC for money laundering on behalf of drug dealers and terrorists (note: HSBC is one of the primary Comex bullion banks and the “custodian” of the gold in the GLD trust). Immigrant children, who crossed the US border without documentation and were held in family detention centers by Homeland Security officials, must be released, the San Francisco Court of Appeals has ruled.
The ruling by the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco on Wednesday sided with immigrant plaintiffs. The case centered on the violation of a 19-year-old legal settlement known as the Flores agreement that set legal requirements for the housing of children seeking asylum or in the country illegally. During testimony before Congress on Thursday, FBI Director James Comey stated that the FBI’s interview with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was not under oath or recorded, but it still would be a crime to lie to the FBI.

The FBI has decided to insert itself into another public records battle. The agency has long been known to cc: itself to public records requests for Stingray documents, but this time it’s claiming any requests for local law enforcement documents related to the Orlando nightclub shooting need to be routed through it. Attorneys for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein touted his close friendship with Bill Clinton and even claimed the billionaire helped start Clinton’s controversial family foundation in a 2007 letter aimed at boosting his image during plea negotiations, FoxNews.com has learned.
The 23-page letter, written by high-powered lawyers Alan Dershowitz and Gerald Lefcourt, was apparently part of an ultimately successful bid to negotiate a plea deal before Epstein could be tried for using underage girls in a sex ring based in Palm Beach, Fla., and his private island estate on the 72-acre Virgin Islands home dubbed “Orgy Island.” Epstein spent 13 months in prison and home detention after agreeing to a plea deal in which he admitted to soliciting an underage girl for prostitution. FBI Director James Comey will explain Thursday to House lawmakers his bombshell decision not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her handling of sensitive emails.
Comey, who took no questions after announcing his decision Tuesday, agreed to go before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee after several lawmakers sought an explanation. In saying he would not press the Justice Department to pursue an indictment against the likely Democrat nominee for president, Comey nonetheless laid out a strong case that she had violated laws regulating government employees’ safeguarding of sensitive emails.
