    “Bad Moon Rising” was the lead single from their album Green River and was released in April 1969. The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1969. It was CCR’s second gold single
    The song has been recorded by at least 20 different artists, in styles ranging from folk to reggae to psychedelic rock. The refrain in the chorus, “there’s a bad moon on the rise,” is commonly misheard as “there’s a bathroom on the right”. Fogerty has parodied the mishearing in live performances of the song.

    1. My brother remarked that John Fogerty is playing a Les Paul Custom in the video. My brother bought one back in the late 60’s and continues to play it when we perform. Appraisal value, depending on the year of manufacture, well over $20,000 these days.

LOL Oh, man Angel, I looked at this thing that shows how to make different smilely faces and along with it was an old comment thread with diggerdan introducing us to the smiley face library and it was hilarious! Even Henry made a thank you comment to digger. And we all know how Henry prefers to “lay back in the weeds” and let us “sort it out” in the comment section and only occasionally makes a comment when someone needs their ass kicked. lol Anyway, Happy Easter to you and yours Angel-NYC!
