Bill Gates: Mosquitos, malaria and education

Uploaded on Feb 5, 2009 by TED

http://www.ted.com Bill Gates hopes to solve some of the world’s biggest problems using a new kind of philanthropy. In a passionate and, yes, funny 18 minutes, he asks us to consider two big questions and how we might answer them.

  1. Bill Gates, yup, he cares all right, cares about his bottom line.

I hate these assholes that are uber rich and think they have all the answers. “Follow me, I’m the Pied Piper.”

“The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.” Yes Bill, get your wife mentioned in that one. “We’ll eliminate those nasty mosquitos while we continue to infect you with our mindless dribble and keen new technology perfectly designed to make money jump out of your wallet.”

Yes people, throw money! We’ll catch it! See this new gizmo, ya just gotta have it, your getting very sleepy now, extracting wallet, mindlessly pulling greenbacks out, kids tuggin’ on your sleeve, “daddy, daddy, I want it, I want it, I want it!” “You won’t be “cool” if you don’t have one!”

Bill Gates, master of bullshit, genius of exploiting others technological advances with his league of extraordinary lawyers. The son of a bitch stole everything to create Windows if you’ve ever looked into the dirty dealings done dirt cheap he pulled off at the onset of Microsoft. Now he has all the answers huh?

  2. “Yep. if we equip every classroom with the “new and improved” gizmo we’re selling, everything will be “all better.”, says the “all knowing and all seeing” God.
