Colorado: “Governor apologizes to Colorado’s sheriffs”

What do you think is behind this? Hickenlooper is afraid of something.

Governor John Hickenlooper is offering an apology to some of his fiercest rivals on the issue of gun control: Colorado’s sheriffs.

The governor’s mea culpa came Friday when he spoke before an assembled group of sheriffs from around Colorado.

A Hickenlooper spokesman confirms that the Governor apologized to the sheriffs for not meeting with them prior to the passage of gun control bills they opposed. Hickenlooper also said his administration didn’t do a good job anticipating pushback on gun control. According to his spokesman, Hickenlooper pledged better communication in the future.”

Coloradans successfully recalled some out of control stale legislators. There is a recall effort underway against Governor Hickenlooper but it has been developing for a year or so. Something else has him running scared. One thing is certain: the Governor of any state needs the support of law enforcement, especially Sheriffs.

  1. Guess there’s no need to apologize to the ‘voters’.

    They’re only window dressing anyway.

  2. Governor Hickenlooper made no apology at all. He only spewed political double talk with a dash of sneering at them and the population of bitter clingers and sour grapes and self pity. He is disgusting worm.

He also does not need the Sheriffs to protect him or go along with his communist agenda. He has his praetorial guard called the State Police. He can even use his army called the state National Guard to bust heads if he wants to. He has the backing of out of state financial power brokers like Bloomberg. He has the US Secret Service and other fed agencies on his side. Possibly even the Pentagon as well. So why would he apologize to a group of patriot sheriffs?

He wouldn’t. He’s not scared at all. He was just reminding them who is in charge and letting them know that he will be giving them orders in the future that they had better obey or else. That is what he in other words said.

His tone and content what he said seemed more to me like a veiled threat. He didn’t even mention the population except in disdain and recognizing that he underestimated the tenacity of what he considers his subjects.

If I were these sheriffs I’d be organizing militias right now and training with them. Any deputies who don’t go along with the program would be fired. That simple. Those sheriffs need to put that governor on notice too, that if he tries to use any of this various assets to enforce those unconstitutional laws they just passed that it would mean ….. You figure out the rest.

This is typical of the attitude of a COMMUNIST!!!!!!

    1. VRWC- I would have liked to see the Governor’s speech (body language) but it was not broadcast by the MSM; which supports everything you said about the Governor.

  3. The governor realizes he made a lot of enemies and days in office may be numbered after next election.

  4. VRWC: “So why would he apologize to a group of patriot sheriffs?”

    Only for political reasons.

I’m getting the feeling (based on absolutely nothing but a hunch), that the decision makers are realizing that Americans aren’t as brainwashed as they thought we were, and they’re encountering a lot more resistance than they ever expected. (Bundy Ranch, Connecticut & California disobedience, Colorado recall)

They may be altering their plans and moving ahead more slowly and cautiously than they were a year ago, but make no mistake; they’re still moving ahead, even if they do so less obviously from here on in.

They’re pressed for time because they can’t stop the economic collapse, so they may also be forced to launch a full-scale “surprise” attack during a big distraction. Be ready for the worst, but also consider that they may be setting their sights on the next generation now that this one has shown itself to be stronger than they thought.

Their plans have been in the works for at least a century. They may wait a little longer for success if they see it as too difficult (or impossible) to acquire now. It’s hard to guess what they might do next, but this governor’s apology to pro-gun sheriffs, and the resistance they’ve been getting, seems to indicate (and necessitate) them moving to milder, and less obvious tactics.

Be ready for the hot war, but keep fighting the info war too because it puts more and more people on our side, and it also may prevent the complete brainwashing of the next generation.

  5. Another thing to consider is that they may be waiting for the economic collapse if they expect it to weaken our side. (personally, I think it will weaken their side a lot more than ours — their soldiers need to be paid)
