The tiny town of Deer Trail, Colo. — barely more than a wide spot on Interstate 70 about 55 miles east of Denver, population 546 — is considering an ordinance that would authorize licensed bounty hunters to shoot down unmanned aircraft violating its “sovereign airspace.”
A six-page petition circulated by a resident says that the threat of surveillance from drones — regardless of who is piloting them — is a threat to “traditional American ideas of Liberty and Freedom” enjoyed by Deer Trail’s “ranchers, farmers, cowboys and Indians, as well as contemporary citizens.”
Therefore, drone incursions are to be seen as acts of war.
This is how the second civil war will come about. Just like how the first one started. Political differences. What one considers a freedom, the other considers a violation. Just like the issues of yesterday, people are fed up about today’s issues. Our current federal government has seen fit to keep a close watch on its citizens for something it started.(war on terror) They have limited our freedom greatly. Not so much in a physical way per say but more like a paranoia way. The government has managed to bottle its sheep by precision strikes of arrests and such to keep the rest of us in line. Then the implement things like the NDAA, Patriot Act and tell us its for our own good and safety. About a 1/3rd of this county disagrees with that. A 3rd of Americans disagreed in 1776 too.
As I’ve said before, a state of civil war exists already on the poitical front. States and towns and counties are passing laws that nullify or defy federal laws. -Mort

Ok so I sourced this article back to the Daily Caller…and I don’t know how reliable they are as far as news. I do know the little blurb you see above is only part of an article and not the full monty. The fella passing around the petition in Deer Trail is also calling for a bunch of rules when shooting drones…i.e. using a 12 gauge or less and only using lead shot, steel or depleted uranium rounds. Hello? Depleted Uranium rounds? I would think by now that anyone with two brain cells rubbing together in their heads would not use depleted uranium rounds.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for shooting down drones, but the CIA drones fly at 30,000 feet….unless you got S.A.M.S. your not gonna hit CIA drones with a 12 gauge.

So who has the S.A.M.’s and why THE HELL do you need a license to do anything, especially shoot a drone down that is aiming to kill you and your fellow Americans in the first place.
