On Aug. 1, 2008, a small team of Israeli commandos entered the waters near Tartus, Syria, and shot and killed a Syrian general as he was holding a dinner party at his seaside weekend home. While Israel has never spoken about its involvement, secret U.S. intelligence files confirm that Israeli special operations forces assassinated the general while he vacationed at his luxury villa on the Syrian coast. Continue reading “Israeli Special Forces Assassinated Senior Syrian Official”

An Alabama woman has filed a lawsuit against local police alleging a stun gun was used on her epileptic daughter three times while the teen was suffering from seizures at a concert in Rainbow City. Police also tased the girl’s mother, she alleges.

The 32-page lawsuit, filed earlier this month in US District Court, accuses at least five Rainbow City officers and three officers from neighboring Gadsden, who were allegedly handling security for a January 16 hip-hop concert, of excessive force, torture “and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment,” Alabama Media Group reported.    Continue reading “Alabama mother says cops tased epileptic teen girl 3 times”

Over 200 years ago, the founding fathers of our country recognized freedom of speech as a guiding principle and a right of all U.S. citizens. Since the Bill of Rights was passed in 1791, people have protested wars, laws, and restrictions to freedom. It took over 100 years, but women and African-Americans were finally recognized as equal to white men based on these principles. Whether in print, on TV or radio, on the internet, or yelling on a street corner, the right to express an opinion should never be silenced.   Continue reading “The American Medical Association Seeks to Silence “Quack” MD’s”

A leaked document shows nearly one-third of the 847,000 veterans in the Department of Veteran Affairs’ backlog died while waiting for treatment, amounting to more than 238,000 patients, according to documents obtained by the Huffington Post.

The VA maintains that the number is so large because it has no mechanism to purge the list of dead applicants, and that some of the veterans may have died years ago. VA spokeswoman Walinda Westtold the Huffington Post that some people on the list may never have completed an application, or could be using other insurance.   Continue reading “238,000 US veterans died waiting for health care – leaked document”

Lisa Riley MD was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head. She was a former emergency room physician at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in the state of Georgia.

We are sorry to announce this news and that brings the total to 9 doctors missing or dead in less than a month. We have Dr. Bradstreet (who was also residing in Georgia but had previously been in Florida) who was found with a gunshot wound to his head. Dr. Bradstreet was an outspoken alternative MD well known in the Autism community. He’d helped many autistic children including his own child and was loved by many. It brought me no joy to break that story.   Continue reading “4th Doctor (an MD) Found Dead, Gunshot Wound to Head”

By now you have heard that the P5 + 1 and Iranian agreement includes a path for easing out economic sanctions. Before the political pundits inject their commentary and biases for the overall tradeoff of varied interests, it would be good to assess the economic costs computed by imposing sanction on Iran as a political stick to isolate and punish the defiant regime. As the American Empire cracks under the pressure of maintaining total conflict in the Middle East, the realities that the overall world community wants a shift in policy is certainly evident in this controversial arrangement of agreement.   Continue reading “Iranian Sanctions was bad for Business”

The fleur de lis, a French symbol used by royal families dating back to the 13th century, and emblazoned on the New Orleans Saints helmet, is now being called a symbol of slavery, drawing comparisons to the recent uproar against the Confederate battle flag.

“As an African I find it painful, and I think people whose ancestors were enslaved here may feel it even harder than I do as an African,” said slave historian Dr. Ibrahima Seck to WWLTV.   Continue reading “Now The Symbol Of New Orleans Is Considered Racist”
