HOUSTON – A homeowner shot two men who had assaulted people at his Fort Bend County home early Saturday, killing one of the men, deputies said.

The shooting happened about 12:30 a.m. in the 15500 block of Schumann Lane.

According to Fort Bend County deputies, the two men, identified as 24-year-old Hashem Abu Amarah and 20-year-old Faisal Abu Amarah, walked up to people who lived at the home and assaulted them. They said the homeowner went inside, grabbed his gun and fired at both men.

Hashem Amarah died at the scene, deputies said. They said Faisal Amarah was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Investigators said the Amarahs had recently threatened the homeowner about a burglary report that was filed last year. Faisal Amarah was arrested and charged because of the report, but that case was later dismissed.

Deputies said the shooting is still under investigation.

  1. Good shooting to the home owner. But, no one should have to retreat to his/her home for a handgun. It should be on your hip at all times. Contemporary America, is a changed place. Scum are every where and no community is safe. No one is responsible for your safety and well being except You!

    1. yep….right you are, Swift. Between the Mexicans, the Muslims, and MS-13, violent crime can break out anywhere, so it’s silly not to be armed at all times these days.

Crime and mayhem is the objective, and as these low-life pieces of trash become more and more desperate, they’ll become more and more violent.

Thanks, Obama. Thanks for doing all you can to screw up this country. All because yo momma is a cheap whore, and the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.

  2. “… the homeowner went inside, grabbed his gun and fired at both men.”

He had every right to do so.

However, there is no mammon to be made unless he is charged with something, so they’ll likely file a charge or two. Even if they drop them at a later date, they’ll squeeze him for some court costs/fees at the very least.
