Don Henley performs “The Heart of the Matter” live at the Farm Aid concert in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 7th, 1990. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid’s board of directors in 2001.

  1. Don Henley was ahead of the curve by a decade or two. Dirty laundry, Sunset Grill, The end of the innocence, heart of the matter and more are all testaments to where we are today. Upon his soapbox he spoke the truth and was ridiculed for being a downer,I have suffered the same treatment, for not going along with the “FAIRY TALE illusion” A Conspiracy Theorist, one could say . REMEMBER: IT BECOMES A CONSPIRACY THEORY ONLY WHEN YOU DONT REMEMBER HISTORY. THOSE THAT DONT REMEMBER ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT, And with the Education system we have today, Is it any wonder. Here we go again, same old shit again!
