Entire Louisiana Sinkhole Area Shook All Night, Big Methane Gas Gathering Worries Officials

Before It’s News – by Deborah Dupre

Throughout Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, the entire Louisiana sinkhole area that is monitored with helicorders recorded even higher than usual seismic activity than it has been recording. Widespread seismic activity has been occurring all along the edge of the Laurentia, the North American Craton.

Following the Puerto Rico earthquake and coinciding with the California strong quake at 1:35 this morning, the Louisiana Sinkhole in Assumption Parish recorded higher than usual seismic activity all Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to the official USGS helicorders monitored by seismologists.

The most active during the night occurred at LA14, shown in the graph below:

Parish officials are being blamed for not protecting the sinkhole workers or the public in the danger zone under a state of emergency since August 4, 2012.

“The parish officials know ‘subsurface activity near sinkhole/Oxy 3′ and they STILL allow Crosstex to store the butane near there and they call it a CODE1,” La. Sinkhole Bugle asserts on its website. This means that “if anything happens, they are fully responsible for workers’ well-being and nearby motorists etc.”

Citizen reporter Dutchsince says about the Puerto Rico quake and the area up through Louisiana and Arkansas, in his YouTube video below, “We haven’t seen anything like this in years in this area.”

Other quakes had also just occurred in the New Madrid Faultline, including a 2.7 on the border of Arkansas and Tennesee, he shows.

Louisiana sinkhole officials admitted this week that they are so concerned about the methane gas build-up below the monster sinkhole lake, they were scheduled to focus mainly on this worry at an informational community meeting Tuesday evening.

  1. I pray we don’t slide into the Gulf of Mexico here in South Louisiana! This is pretty scary stuff, we have had these salt dome issues before, Lake Peignur, it swallowed 18 wheelers and an entire drilling rig, among other things, that was back in the 80’s, the idiots drilled into the salt dome. All I can do is pray for my fellow Louisianians, and pray it does not get much worse. But I feel it will, I think the BP Oil Spill and this are tightly connected.

    1. I hope you and others there are spared from this disaster. you are exactly right that the bp macondo well snafu and this salt dome failure are related. the bp macondo252 well was drilled down to a depth of 18000 feet into a methane and hydrocarbon(crude oil) formation which was known to have been there from previous research done by texaco during the rigell well drilling exploration(1999). they knew of the very high pressure reservoir and also knew of the salt dome potential failure there. that is why texaco abandoned the rigell well back in the 90’s. the macondo 252(devils well) was drilled almost right on top of where the new madrid fault line runs under the gulf. this macondo well failure was pre-thought and done with malice and disregard for all who live along the gulf coast. this high pressure oil and methane has been leaking up into the fault strata since they plugged the well. this is meant to cause the madrid fault to rupture all up along the fault structure. the proof of this is the radiation isotopes and oil/methane signatures all exaclty match what is coming up from the macondo 252(devils well) well, match those same signatures found in bayou corne slat dome
truly wicked people who promulgated this event

      1. I agree they are truly evil. I have heard the powers that be want the Gulf Coast void of all people so they can grow algae, or something like that. I do not know how true this is. I have done a lot of praying on wether we should move from here or not. I have not gotten that get out feeling, so we will stay. If God wants us here and we die, so be it, if he wants us gone, he will let us know and we will leave!

I knew they were drilling into very deep depths, but I did not know Texaco had almost drilled it then quit. That is very interesting.

All of these Oil Companies are evil, I research this stuff for a living and all Oil companies stem from just a couple of companies back in the day, Stanolind Oil being one, if memory serves me right, run by the Rockefellers.

What is sad, is Louisiana was a very poor area, until Oil came, and they came flashing their money to these poor people who took it hook, line and sinker. Now everyone you know works in the Oil Field, it weren’t for the Oil field, there would be no jobs here. Sad, really sad. I am guilty, I contract to them and do their research, so they can lease landowners and drill on land. This is what I have always done, my mother did it, my sister does it. It is just a catch 22. My Dad, of 8 kids, is the only one who did not work for the oil companies, in my family.

I guess it has come to bite us now.

      1. I recommend sharing this info with all your friends and family so they can be empowered. i would also highly recommend an nbc style of gas-mask. this is due to the fact that if there is a large siesmic event in your area, there will likely be a large hydrocarbon release of methane. methane sinks to the ground and causes mass suffocation not to mention the flammability danger as well. take care.

        1. Thank you very much for the information. We have been looking into the masks and I fell that will be our next purchase. Thanks again.
