  1. Presidents are selected, not elected

The US, where freedom from liberty still exists.

    -Cynicles

The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.

    -Samuel Adams

  2. “7. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.
    — P.J. O’Rourke, Civil Libertarian”

    Or Palestine to the jews.

Here is one on truth that I came across in the movie “The International” that says it all, imo…

“Eleanor Whitman: We are just trying to get to the truth!

New York D.A.: I get it! But what you need to remember is that there’s what people want to hear, there’s what people want to believe, there’s everything else, THEN there’s the truth!

Eleanor Whitman: And since when it’s that OK? I can’t even believe you are saying this to me! The truth means responsibility, Arnie!

New York D.A.: Exactly! Which is why everyone dreads it!”

And here is another from the same movie that perfectly explain the international banksters (I was shocked they put this one out there, but then again it IS Hollywood, so it’s only ‘make believe’, right?)…

“Umberto Calvini: [In explaining the “true” nature of banking in the world] The IBBC is a bank. Their objective isn’t to control the conflict, it’s to control the debt that the conflict produces. You see, the real value of a conflict, the true value, is in the debt that it creates. You control the debt, you control everything. You find this upsetting, yes? But this is the very essence of the banking industry, to make us all, whether we be nations or individuals, slaves to debt.”

    BINGO!!!!!

  3. “There is no tradeoff between individual rights and public safety. A decrease in rights is simultaneously a decrease in safety. Rights exist as protections against power. Each decrease in rights means that much less protection against a government that is becoming oppressive.”

    — Joseph P. Martino, RESISTANCE TO TYRANNY

The above quote, coupled with the observation that governments have a history of murdering their own citizens in FAR greater numbers than terrorists ever could, provides a bombproof argument against any jackass who claims that rights should be given up for “security.”

Martino’s book is a MUST-READ, by the way. I’ve already recommended it on another thread. And no, I have no relation to him in any way. Even if you just buy one copy and share it with as many people as possible, make sure you read it!
