I Don’t Want Safety – I Want Freedom

Paratus Familia Blog – by Enola Gay

Our government is trying to pull a fast one.  They are trying to convince us that their most pressing mandate is to provide the American citizens with the greatest measure of safety possible.  Forget the freedoms mandated by our founding fathers and entrusted to us in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights – SAFETY is the guiding principle of our new Keepers.  Our Keepers are not alone in their carefully conceived deception – they have entreated willing accomplices in the media and the marbled halls of  academia to perpetuate the lie that safety can be bought for the piddling sum of freedom.

Safety and Freedom are incongruent concepts.  Safety is an illusion, a passing ideal.  It is  the calling card of every power-hungry tyrant in the history of our world.  It is the stock-in-trade of every tin-pot dictator.  The promise of safety is the destroyer of freedom in every first-world nation on this earth.  Safety is a deception sold to a gullible people.  Freedom, on the other hand, was established in the hearts of men by their Creator. We crave it.  We fight for it.  We were born for it.  True men understand the eternal value of freedom and will guard and protect it no matter the cost.  They understand that safety cannot be bought, but found in the strong towers of God alone.  They know that freedom is born in our very heart and cannot be traded for a mere illusion.

I don’t want whatever safety our government thinks they can offer us – I want only the freedom that is our birthright.

They can takes our lives….but they can never take our FREEDOM!

Our elected body that supposedly represent us no longer has a real world grasp of neither freedom nor safety. How does this effect the God given rights that have been reinforced by our founding documents which organized this great experiment? People with more than two brain cells understand that the parties of said agreement must trust the other. What happens now as this trust has been damaged beyond repair and no longer warranted?

I remember (paraphrased) one of the questions asked of Obama at one of the 2012 presidential debates that was styled like a “town hall meeting.” It was along the lines of, “what do you see as the primary responsibility of the POTUS to the American people?” and his response was, “to keep the American people safe.” My jaw dropped. I guess I was hoping for an answer like, “to uphold and defend the Constitution.” or at least a nodding reference to preserving our rights and freedoms.

There is no such thing as reliable safety provided by others. That is an illusion. As a mother concerned with the safety of my children, I have first and foremost taught them to take care of themselves and be discerning when it comes to trusting others. To be aware and watchful for dangers and to know how to get out of dangerous situations. This should be common sense. I see way too many oblivious people these days, creating hazards for themselves and others, not realizing how defenseless and precarious a position they are putting themselves in. Brains are turned off, just going through the motions, zombified.

It reminds me of the show, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” in which both Sarah and John Connor always say, “Safe? No one can ever be fully safe.” Basically saying safety is all an illusion. So true.

I’d rather have freedom than security by a long shot. Death to the NWO!
