Black labs are much more loving and more gentle than Persian cats. Labs hate rats and will kill any chicken in sight so I guess they aren’t that loving.

When I was little we had a bunch of chickens.
A black lab from the neighborhood climbed the chain-link fence…yes, climbed
and killed nearly every one of the chickens.
The neighbor replaced every last one of them and apologized. They had us over for fresh baked blackberry pie as a kinda joke. …southern decency, hospitality and humor…nothing like it anywhere.
