what may have not been so much mentioned…was Nam…was on the table, politically even then…Eisenhower advised to get out….did not happen….and so the 50’s were tainted via a lack of political will, understanding and threw myself and countless others into the war in Vietnam.(1960’s).a mad fighting war…2+ M Vietnamese are reported killed via the US being there…NEARLY 60th us soldiers..died directly……and hunrds…of thousands indirectly….
Myself, was not wounded…except of heart……..it and the Korean War are mostly forgotten………………How Convenient……well!!!Not Really…cause to disavow is to rerun again….. on US Soil…………I wonder!!?

Thanks for posting that video, Paul. I often forget how nice things were in the 1950s. My children and grandchildren will never know how simple and uncomplicated times were when I was a kid.
no my grand kids have no idea either. even though i try to explain it to them they cant comprehend it.
