Lt. Col. Robert Bateman’s Response to A Patriot

NC Renegade – by David

David,

I read your article and the Esquire piece on Batemen and got furious. I wrote him and the banter is below.

I am waiting to reply to his arrogant response. I am thinking that waging war on law abiding US citizens is not treason? Did we not fight the Revolutionary war on the basic principles we are being subjected to today? Does he really think this Congress would declare a war given the track record of their reluctance to do so ever since Korea?

He is another hack trying to position himself for some cushy think tank or political job after he “retires”.

What do you not understand about the 2nd Amendment of my US Constitution? Did you not swear an oath to defend and protect the US Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic? In my honest opinion, if you are not in the military for that reason, you are a traitor. Washington had men severely punished for lesser crimes than what you are proposing during the Revolutionary War. The Constitutional second amendment GUARANTEES me the right to defend myself and family against tyrants like you with a firearm. Owning firearms is not some privilege bestowed upon me from a king or dictator. It is a god-given right under natural law that it is my duty to protect my family and myself and if that means a firearm or pistol, so be it. Get it? You progressive f_cks think you got it all figured out. Let’s change the Constitution and it will all be fixed. Ha. Dream on dimwit.

Do you not understand the death and destruction that will lay in the wake of your confiscatory nonsense? All while you sip scotch in some back office while getting some grunt to polish your brass and shine your sorry assed shoes. The sheep are awakening to the wolves who are charged with keeping our us safe. You sir, are a disgrace.

BTW, in England,  murders by knives have risen sharply each year since the firearms ban. Did you conveniently forget that tidbit in your article? Same thing happening in Maryland everyday since that asshat governor banned guns. My wife now carries a knife and pepper spray to work. Have you heard of the knock out game? All because you have and want to take away the deterrent.  Great society you assholes have morphed us into.

So sit back in your office and type out some more horse sh_t and cruise into your well deserved pension.

Fortunately for me, you do not get to define treason.  The Founding Fathers did that in the Constitution.

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.”

Maybe you should read it sometime.

  1. …well let me tell you…I am pretty sure we can put together a local grand jury to indict this fascist on treason charges…even based on the traitor’s own definition…and,…if he is so confident in his position …let us see what a “jury of his peers” thinks…(in this day and age)…and then let us have a rope hanging in the trees outside of the courthouse …ready for efficient use…

    1. well, a dead man can no longer debate his standing treasonous and can no longer move forward his plan to destroy a nation, yet his death can instill a reminder in those that comptmplate teason against a peoples. In the end history portrays those that destroy (and in the same act create) a culture as the heros. If we allow the fascists and communists to dominate us we will be exterminated. If, however, we exterminate the fascists and communists, we will become the liberators and saints of the story. The truth is, only monsters can vanguish monsters, you must choose, be a righteous dead man or a living and victorious monster.

    2. i will be a witness against him for treason. i took the oath to protect and defend the Constitution and MY oath never expires. what this fool is proposing is indeed aiding and abetting the enemy. does he REALLY think the muslims won’t trot right in with the russians and chinese to takeover America once the citizens are disarmed? trust me they are WAITING for that very occurrence.

  2. As I had stated in a previous article:

    Grandpa Bateman says,

“Fortunately for me, you do not get to define treason. The Founding Fathers did that in the Constitution.

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

WOW! WOW! The arrogance on this guy is astounding. Oh yea, this guy deserves to hang bigtime. It’s guys like him who are perfect for DHS because they have the brain of egotistical maniac who basically cares for no one but himself and thinks he’s God’s gift to the world. Oh man, this guy needs to be hanged Bigtime!

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

So taking away guns from We the People and giving them to Al-Qaeda and Eric Holder’s gang of gun smuggling criminals is NOT treasonous or “adhering to their enemies of the U.S.”?

Man, this guy is truly living in a delusional world. And if he thinks that we can’t get more than one witness to testify against him after thousands of people read this, he’s definitely living in his own delusional world. I don’t even think this guy has any kind of soul or humanity in him, whatsoever. How he can live with himself is beyond me. How he is still alive after all of that is beyond me.

And the thing that pisses me off the most is that he knows no one is going to do anything about it, so he just taunts people as though he is saying, “Yeah it may be treason, so what are you going to do about it? Hehe!”

Hang the bastard for HIGH TREASON!!!!

  3. Well I just wanted to throw a thought out there and see if it bounces. I think that even if they take the guns, and make them hard to get we will still have many things to use to defend ourselves and some of them are very effective. I will not list them because I am sure you folks are well aware of most of them and I dont want to get anyone busy banning them.
But we will only be defenseless when we stop trying to defend ourselves. And have you ever noticed the enemy always brings you guns when they attack you? It really is nice of them to do that.

  4. Bateman is correct.

The word patriots need to learn is “sedition”. And patriots, stop throwing around the word “treason”. When you do, it makes you look ignorant, it’s not applicable at this point in time, and you give ass-clowns like Bateman more fodder…… And don’t be offended by this statement. Your heart may be in the right place but your brain isn’t.
Up until ass-clown Bateman is involved in an armed effort against We the People, he is advocating sedition. When the “government” does take up arms against We the People and ass-clown Bateman is a party to that action, you’ll then have an act of treason. And ass-clown Bateman does not have to physically partake in the taking up of arms to fit the definition of treason; if he does conspire and plan for the taking up of arms against We the People, AFTER hostilities break out, he is then guilty of an act of treason.
For right now, he is advocating sedition, (still a capital crime), and he’s a traitor of the worst kind…….plus, he’s an ass-clown!

BTW, his way of thinking is pervasive in the mid to high level officer class. Be prepared for this. They will give the order to pull triggers against you. Have no illusions about this.

    1. Funny how this meatpuppet’s rhetoric is very similar to those who went before neuremburg on charges “just following orders”. even more ironic this diaper dung spouts this stuff not even a generation after the war crimes of ww2. the only way to stifle this traitorous agenda is to hold the whole federal govt up on charges for treason and sedition and then HANG them all.

  5. Hey Bateman just a little heads up to you and your fellow cronies: We all know who our enemy is make no mistake about it and you are damn sure abetting them and giving them aid. Do you really think anybody takes you and your progrom of denying us our God given rights seriously?? You orchestrate war?? sure you do, ever been shot at in a combat situation? probably not. Ever been in a good bar fight and win ? -probably not. I here you live in England ? figures. You’re no soldier you are a traitor to the true American people and our Constitution. You gun grabbin’ commies think your such hard asses but you wont step up to any real American face to face and try to take his weapon will ya ? You know what would happen- you’ll be pickin’ boot laces out of your sorry ass for a month. You are no warrior, you have no honor, you are a coward. I dont even own a gun but I will defend our God given rights till the end. Dont ever forget that.

  6. It may not be treason but, if I’m not mistaken it does fall under the textbook definition of sedition. Does it not?

  7. I went through ROTC with Bateman at University of Delaware. He was an arrogant punk then, and he’s an arrogant punk now. If I remember correctly, he had an extensive drug history in High School and still managed to land a 2 year Army Scholarship.
This guy is, and always has been, ALL about HIS career, he does not see American civilians as the owners of the country- his ego is way too big for that.
Bateman: Shut up or a whole bunch of bad news releases are going to be coming your way.

    1. “He was an arrogant punk then, and he’s an arrogant punk now. If I remember correctly, he had an extensive drug history in High School and still managed to land a 2 year Army Scholarship.”

Well then, that is exactly the kind of guy the Zionist bastards want, as stated in the Protocols of Zion, which states for the Zionists to appeal and take advantage of a person’s ego for their purposes.

Hence, why we have no police officers or sheriffs left in this country with even a half a brain cell working.

  8. Dear Light Colonel Bob,
You chide other responders for not having read the US Constitution. I, however, take you to task for having such incredibly abysmal knowledge of the Jefferson and George Mason writings, Madison’s opinions in The Federalist papers, and, US Supreme Court case law, just for starters. For a Military Fellow, an infantryman and a supposed historian, you have a SEVERE lack of understanding of the founding fathers’ opinions and the original intent of the Constitution writers and ratifiers.
As a professor, I teach courses in American History, American Government and the US Constitution. I am also an F & I and Northern Plains Native American/Mountain Man reenactor and Jamestown living history teacher. With 28 years in the military, I was very privileged to teach indigenous police and military about civil-military operations and justified use of force from a US perspective. I am a prior law enforcement officer.
So, let the lesson begin. Firstly, Jefferson: “No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” 1776 “…all power is inherent in the people; that…it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.” 1824
Next, George Mason: “(I) ask who are the militia? They consist now of the whole people, except a few public officers.” “A well regulated Militia, composed of the gentlemen, freeholders, and other freemen is necessary to protect our ancient laws and liberty from the standing army…”1788
Then, James Madison: “The Constitution preserves ‘the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of every other nation…(where) their governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” The Federalist, No. 46
Finally, the US Supreme Court: “The right there is that of ‘bearing arms for a lawful purpose.’ This is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent on that instrument for its existence.” US vs, Cruikshank 1876
The list goes on and on. There are literally hundreds of historical quotes, essays, opinion pieces, court decisions that very plainly prove that the right of the people, individually, collectively and as members of the Militia, to be armed for self defense and against government tyranny is an inalienable right, self evident and endowed upon the common man by our Creator.
You sir, need to spend the rest of your life forgetting the progressive revisionism you’ve spouted so often, and learning the foundational truths and unambiguous principles so perfectly espoused by our gifted founders.
For a commissioned military officer to be so blatantly ignorant about such truths is inexcusable. Get busy!
