Mad World

The Burning Platform

The haunting Gary Jules version of the Tears for Fears’ Mad World speaks to me in these tumultuous mad times. It must speak to many others, as the music video has been viewed over 132 million times. The melancholy video is shot from the top of an urban school building in a decaying decrepit bleak neighborhood with school children creating various figures on the concrete pavement below. The camera pans slowly to Gary Jules singing on the rooftop and captures the concrete jungle of non-descript architecture, identical office towers, gray cookie cutter apartment complexes, and a world devoid of joy and vibrancy.

The song was influenced by Arthur Janov’s theories in his book The Primal Scream. The chorus above about his “dreams of dying were the best he ever had” is representative of letting go of this mad world and being free of the monotony and release from the insanity of this world. Our ego fools us into thinking the madness of this world is actually normal. Day after day we live lives of quiet desperation. Despite all evidence our world is spinning out of control and the madness of the crowds is visible in financial markets, housing markets, politics, social justice, and social media, the level of normalcy bias among the populace has reached astounding levels, as we desperately try to convince ourselves everything will be alright. But it won’t.

  1. Thanks, #1. Except for the tip of the hat to Trump and Ron Paul and his family, some good points here on the mental state of many people walking around today. Yeah, the silent scream. Going on everywhere. I myself prefer the primal scream. Best when driving and alone, although you might get some weird looks from those in passing vehicles.

So many voices adding to the insanity. This one immediately comes to mind:

“Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.”
    — Hillary Clinton

Can thinking get more insane than that?!!! Geez!!

And I think of the kids…

“A child educated ONLY at school is an uneducated child.”
    — Author Unknown

Yeah, if you can, keep ’em out of school. Mega insanity there.

An underneath all the insanity sits The Bill of Rights, always rising, even when it is stomped on and smeared. It’s clean truth shines as the way out, the way forward out of the ugliness of chaos and insanity. I have found no other written document so beautifully simple and, dare I say, pure. Main thing to reach for, but everybody here already knows that. We are tasked, like MS said, with seeing it through, the full restoration of our inalienable rights.

    1. “Except for the tip of the hat to Trump and Ron Paul and his family…”

Granted, galen… but the rest was spot on, imo. Here’s what really caught my attention (other than the Zappa bit)…

“I feel I’ve psychologically and emotionally suffered from being a sane man in an insane world. I’ve been alienated and shunned, but I’ve retained my dignity and self-respect.”

“I will not adapt myself to a sick society where vices are considered virtues, lies are considered truth, feeling overrides thinking, fiction passes for fact, enemies are created to instill fear, and insanity is considered sane.”

      That’s me… NO COMPROMISE!!!

      1. Agreed, #1. And this Huxley quote therein certainly deserves repeating:

“The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does. They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.”
        — Aldous Huxley

        Beware the normal, eh? 🙂

        .

    2. “Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.”
      — Hillary Clinton

“No other woman in history has had so many murdered, stolen as much money and have arrogantly gotten away with it as Hillary Clinton”.

Picture in this post is of Horizon Drill Rig, Gulf of Mexico. I debated (myself) all night whether to comment or not. I must try to educate many as possible. For those that believe two planes, or explosives took down seven buildings, one 5 hrs. 20 minutes after the first this comment really not for you. Feel free to submit evidence to the contrary, naturally.

The link to the photo I had to search for, had similar on file but gone. The use of Burning Platform to Me is troubling, what is the message?? The disaster of the Horizon Drill Rig was man made. The drilled well was on an Earth Fault. Thousands upon thousands of lives and livelihoods were ruin that depended on fishing industry. Shrimp being the main one. Not only impacted our food supply too. The dispersant sprayed did little of nothing just drove the oil to the bottom, probably still there. Out of sight out of mine??

Remember steel does not burn. What cause the hole in the heliport as in the linked photo?? Was the cause of burning oil rig by DEW/direct energy weapon?? The Horizon had jumpers same as the Twin Towers. Did they jump from unknown intense heat, heat from the fire or maybe in the hope of being rescued?? From these photos shows the thick black smoke, lack of oxygen. Same as the towers. Than inferno maybe from escaping gas???

What cause/made the hole in the Heliport???

#1 NWO hatr; Suppose up to Me to answer. There were no planes. Remark was made for persons that believed in the propaganda of 911 probably would not believe what I posted.

I don’t understand what site and what article you are thinking?? While the post ’Mad World’ I thought was very good but why the Burning Oil Rig. A message I don’t get. The story of the Horizon is another fraud. A story I feel had to be told in My view. At the end trailers Sound of silence by Disturb, I listed another Sound of Silence by Disturb-911.

Two scenarios I fail to mention. The Horizon was fueled with ten thousand gallons of diesel fuel (generators) before the fire. Claimed the generators over rev, the lighting when bright. Some claimed natural gas when into the generating room this was the cause to over rev and fire. Was it?? What cause the hole in the Heliport, which I should have called Helipad.

The Mad World is a great presentation, I’ll spread it around

I’m sure the site name was meant to be taken in a negative context, considering the content posted there.

It is the original site the article was posted on.
