Massive San Antonio NSA Data Center Raises Eyebrows

Breitbart – by BEN SHAPIRO

Even as reports break about the size and scope of the National Security Agency’s vast data storage center in Utahnew details are emerging about a second massive NSA center in San Antonio, Texas. According to the Houston Chronicle, “Satellite and aerial imagery show that massive air conditioning units and backup generators have been added to the facility, which is now ringed by barbed-wire fencing. City permits and property tax records show that the complex has been dramatically expanded.” According to sources, the plant will supposedly translate intercepted communications from the NSA; the communications are then forwarded to Maryland for processing.

The data center itself is about 94,000 square feet. It became operational in 2012. But theSan Antonio Express-News could find no funding in the Defense Department budgets from 2004 through 2013 for the work at the Sony plant where the NSA center was located. The property on which the data center is located has grown by approximately 135,000 square feet, and is now worth some $72 million. A local bond sale in 2006 estimated that the NSA would be dropping $300 million into the area.

Originally, the NSA was much more transparent about the project, actually holding a job fair to promote their expansion in San Antonio. But from 2007 on, the news about the site has been nonexistent. In 2010, San Antonio residents reported that their garage doors had been opening randomly, and the NSA admitted that its antenna were interfering with garage door openers.

  1. OK, HOW MANY F**KING DATABASE CENTERS DO THEY NEED, DAMMIT!!!!??? I thought Utah was the only one. Are they going to build one in Michigan, Minnesota or North Dakota, too? Since they have one in the West (Utah), one in the East (Maryland), one in the South (San Antonio, TX), I guess there should be one in the North, right?

And believe me, San Antonio is one big dead town with a militarized police and bases everywhere. It is more of a military base/town than a real town anymore. They land helicopters in the city streets for fun and drills whenever they feel like it and cut off roads and so on. Meanwhile, illegal immigrants and shady Mexicans reign the territories not controlled by the military. One big Police state. Hell, they have Park Police patrol cars, patrolling the city itself, for cryin’ out loud.

Let’s put it this way, if Dallas has the worst crime rate in Texas along with the underground FEMA center in Denton, TX, while San Antonio has the worst police state in Texas. So this doesn’t surprise me. Meanwhile the Gestapo is in Temple, Round Rock and Fort Hood areas of TX. Houston is basically the corporate military center of Texas with Oil companies, military companies, and DHS galore.

Hell, all of Texas is basically one giant underground Military/Special ops/Government experiment base with farmland and ranchers to cover up any suspicions with their wired fences, no trespassing signs and so on.

  2. For all of its independence – secessionist bluster I’m afraid TX is about as compromised as any other state. On the other hand, if the SHTF there will be
considerable federal resources to capture and put to good use. Hopefully, enough assets of personnel and materiel can be persuaded to make the right decision.
