American Militia – by Rick Light
This Email went out to all Texas sheriffs this morning by Sheriff Elliott of Edwards county Texas in behalf of the Texas State Militia! Sheriff Elliott had me daft this email for her!
Hello to all our Sheriffs in Texas.
Dear Sheriffs of Texas, we at the Texas State Militia would love to invite all of you to a very special meeting here in Edwards County Texas At the Sheriffs dept. in Rocksprings May the 11th at 10:00 am to announce a very exciting and historical event, The revival of the Citizens Militia according to Subsection E of the Texas State Constitution.
This event is being hosted by Sheriff Elliott of Edwards County. This meeting on the 11th is to introduce the Commanders of the Texas State Militia, to give you their contacts and to familiarize you all with the TSM intent and structured layout of the Citizen Militia here in Texas under the TSM.
Here is the link to the Texas State Constitution on the constitutionality of the Citizens Militia RE: Reserve Militia,, http://
Another useful piece of referal information on this subject and the history here at this link, http://constitution.org/mil/
As we all know there has been a growing of interest in the Militia within the state of Texas and across the nation as well! This is a very good thing to see citizens wanting to be involved to help within their states to serve their communities, it is their right to do so legaly and safely with the Sheriffs supervision working with the Sheriffs Deputies in any event of the sheriffs’ choosing, whether the event is a disaster or a man made event!
This is the Texas State Militia’s stance on these things! 1.Professionalism, 2. Safe unit Structures, 3. Serving the community.
We also realize that there can be a danger to the call of Militia if we do not organize the Citizens Militia in a productive safe way involving our county Sheriffs so security and quality of militia members are to be maintained. The Texas State Militia is structured in such a way.
We can even further this organization with the valuable input our Sheriffs provide, Please visit our Website at www.texasstatemilitia.com
We are excited to the prospect of having our Sheriffs ear and their hearts and we are seeking an endorsement from the Texas Sheriffs across the State. We are law abiding Citizens that not only wish to strengthen our 2nd amendment rights but to also serve the community by working with our Sheriffs to help them secure the counties in which we live.
The Texas State Militia members are volunteers, we cost nothing but some trust! We all know that our Sheriffs are over burdened at times with many troubling things and the TSM can help our Sheriffs immensely, we are very well trained and disciplined, we are a Well Regulated Militia according to law!
Please come to the meeting in Rocksprings to help this piece of Texas History thrive. If there are any questions please contact me at 830-591-3177 or contact Sheriff Elliott in Rocksprings.
Hope to see our Texas Sheriffs on the 11th at 10:00 AM.
Sincerely, Rick Light, Texas State Militia Commander, Edwards county platoon.
This is good. Hope it happens.
The Texas “State” Militia is a government handshake run militia taking orders from Governor Rick Perry and not a free or sovereign militia. It operates under the guise of a civilian militia but is in fact funded by state government and commanded by vetted retired military officers. Yeah it sounds like nit picking but these ‘volunteer’ goons are training to ‘restore civilian unrest’ aka work under martial law to keep U.S. government in power. They explain it all on their website. You have another thing coming if you believe state politicians aren’t in bed with the District of Criminals federal reserve police state.
You mean this website Crunch? Here is Rick Light’s website: http://wramsite.com/
. . .
Nope, try this one.

Crunch, would you give the source for your statement that Texas state government funds TSM, and that TSM takes orders from the Texas governor? I’ve looked and can’t find verification of such. The bylaws state that authority is retained at company level, with no command structure beyond company commander. My questions don’t mean that I know one way or the other, but I would like clarification.
Sorry it took so long to reply…It’s a state militia, key word is state, and they adhere to bylaws of the state just like a sheriff must comply with bylaws which are contrary to the constitution by design.
The unorganized militia may be called to service by the governor of the State of Texas to aide state authorities in the lawful execution of their duties, or by general consensus of the population should the state fail in the execution of its constitutional duties.
Regional Directors will assume responsibility for vetting new company commanders and assisting in building new units within their region, as well as monitoring for adherence to the TSM Structure and ‘Bylaws'< mimicking state bylaws.

Hmm, I don’t yet have a firm opinion, but I see your point of view and that every organization of authority is easily subverted when the members don’t understand or are unwilling to stand by their oath.
Guess it depends on whether the militia takes its oath to the US and state constitutions so seriously that it would disobey any unconstitutional order, or whether it’s just another situation of blindly obeying any stinking order because it came from higher up the pecking order.
I do note that TSM, like our armed services, has a glaring lack of any education/training on the Constitution and Bill of Rights (http://texasstatemilitia.com/training/) and, unless a member devoted the personal study time, that member wouldn’t necessarily understand what would constitute an unconstitutional order that should be disobeyed.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Its a standing army and let me show you why. They haven’t lifted a finger to secure anyone’s liberty or protect the constitutional rights of any individuals or groups AFAIK. Shouldn’t they be removing the TSA? After all, the TSA is in direct violation of the Texas Constitution. Also, where were these motherf***ers when the Waco massacre took place? They are absent in duties in regards to upholding the Texas constitution or defending its citizenry from domestic enemies who burn Christians.
In response to your comment above:
TSM didn’t exist at the time of the Waco massacre.
As far as removing TSA at this point, it’s better to live another day and execute future winning tactics than sacrifice oneself today for a pointless loss.
And on that note, rumors say the take down of the psychopaths is waiting on the word from Dempsey, but no one knows why he is hesitating.
Texas has had state militias operating since its conception. I don’t want these crimes to continue and waiting on a governor to give out an order for the militas to fight domestic enemies from the Fed will never happen. I do appreciate your input and challenging me on this but nothing will change until we all stand up and say no.
This is important because they’re “mainstreaming” the militia by giving it official support, and this can quickly spread to other states.
It’s also important because it will give the Zionist media little opportunity to deride militia members as it presently does.
Some good points made here by those commenting…but I think we can all agree that a return to state militias, outside the control of the criminal hopelessly corrupt Federal government and federalized National Guard structure, is a promising step in the hope of re-establishing some semblance of checks-and-balances, or at least some security for the States and their citizens when the Federalis or UN try to come marching in.
On another note, I hope that dude in the photo doesn’t blow a hole thru his own foot, as it sure looks like he has his finger on the trigger before acquiring his target…unless his target *is* his own foot that is. Not a promising start for the Texas State Militia. lol 😉
