Larry Pratt does a pretty good job, but as I’ve said before, the full-auto vs. semi-auto distinction is of minimal importance. Even in the US military, full-auto is almost never used on rifles anymore.
Nevertheless, civilians DO have the right to own full-auto weapons. So when that MSNBC asshat started out with the question about whether civilians should be able to buy the same weapons that soldiers use, Pratt’s answer should have been, “Yes. Here’s why…,” followed by a lecture on the history of democide.
