Century Link TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A Tucson, Ariz., police officer has been fired after authorities say he pulled a gun on a gas station attendant while off duty and apparently intoxicated.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department notified Tucson police that 23-year-old Kyle James McCartin was arrested early Tuesday on two counts of aggravated assault.
Deputies were called to a Giant Gas Station and learned two men who appeared very intoxicated entered the store wearing bulletproof vests.
Authorities say one of the men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk twice.
Deputies found the men at a nearby apartment complex and the clerk identified McCartin as the man with the gun.
Police say McCartin was hired in September and was on probationary status.
It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
I just wonder if he- that cop – was on steroids or some goofy drugs that he stole from someone durring a drug bust or something because this seems to be getting to be a every day occurence. A cop on pot just may think that his sh*t don`t stink ya`ll know if ya know what I`m sayin` and then blame it all on the drugs. That is a cop thinkin` he is above the law. I bet he is on some drug and then he will blame all of his piggish actions on the drug that I bet he will say that he was on to create him to do this. I guess that he shown his true colors eh people.

To bad an upstanding citizen wasn’t there to save the day and beat the dog snot out of this guy, thinking that he was robbing the store. That would have been a happy ending. Instead, he’ll cut through the red tape and get away without any hard punishment, just as they always do.
