Here the cheapest place for LP is Tractor Supply Co. @ 2.49 per. gal. x approx. 4.2 gal. per 20lb tank = approx. 10.45 cost per.
Keep an eye on the Chinese Factory Outlet though (Walmart). In the past, they offered a 10.00 gift card with every tank purchased.
I haven’t seen that in a year +, but I keep an eye out.
We started the same last year. 5th Wheel on side of mountain. Never coming off the Mountain. Slowly but surely. Water system in Place Rain water & Spring. Power systems in place 2 diesel Generator’s and 1 Honda 3000EU. Fuel storage in place 1000K diesel, 300 Gas. Solar system there but not up and working yet. Freedom is the word.

As in you have no government papers or IDs?
Or offgrid as you grew, fell, and milled the 2x4s and siding?
Or off grid like you still have internet?

The big issue we face is scraping the crud off our country that you call “government”. To do this WE need our American people. WE have to work together (Gung-ho: which means ‘work together’).
I have a large amount of respect for those with the gonads to attempt what most will not.

But what I do have is a baseline for my effort.
I can say reasonably that if they turn off the power tomorrow.
I’ll probably survive longer than you.
